Booing no, banter is fine.

What surprised me is that Yannick wasn't smiling like he usually does. Whether you think we stopped him smiling or it was the sentimentality of who he was up against, it clearly wasn't the Yannick we knew, oh, and blue alone doesn't suit him!

Not seen him beaming like he used to at Palace. I think he moved to take himself out of his comfort zone, it's not that he's not enjoying himself, it's just he's probably focused to impress there after a poor year last season. I think the move is probably good for him but I do think if he'd stayed he'd have started to enjoy playing with Benteke and felt the challenge to improve with us.

similar to Chris Armstrong. Never hardly saw him smile in a spurs shirt. His happiest times were at palace no doubt.

After all the support from passionate fans along the way ... support for the very sad passing of his father and yla's injuries the guy couldn't send a message on leaving the palace faithful... personally I find that offensive...!
I wish him well, but will not respect him in the same way as I have for others who are grateful for our passionate support such as the very graceful message from Jedi...!

When Bolasie left, he was quoted as saying he was looking forward to moving to a 'bigger club' and progressing his career at an 'ambitious club' - understandably that upset some Palace fans.

I wasn't thrilled to hear that quote but seeing we were getting circa £30m, enabling us to fund the purchase of Benteke; I figured it was good business all round and a positive move for all concerned. Now, whilst I would admit I don't want Bolasie to go on to become a superstar for another team, I was pretty shocked to hear a bunch of lads sitting near me and my fiancé calling him a 'f***ing c**t' and was equally bemused to hear fans around us singing "your just a sh*t Wilfred Zaha". Given that Wilf was having one of his less memorable games, the irony was not lost on me. This also made me think about the fact that only a few weeks ago Wilf himself said he wanted to leave for Spurs. Am I therefore to expect him to call called a 'f***ing c**t' in January if the club decide to cash in and upgrade?

Fortunately with it being Friday night and a good 5 hour drive, there were quite a few spare seats so we simply moved and found ourselves surrounded by likeminded palace fans and were able to enjoy what was a fantastic performance by the lads. Pardew is getting is right and palace are on the up. As for Bolasie, he remains a powerful, entertaining, passionate footballer who will perhaps never quite fulfil his potential, but let's not vilify him for choosing to try - and remember that it was only a few weeks ago that we were singing "going down the wing for me".

Football at its fickle best.

Up the Palace.

A bunch of lads don't really speak for the majority, i think you'll find a lot are pleased for what he did, but pleased more so for the opportunity to get a proven goal scorer in.

And i think he has reached his potential...you won't get anything more out of him... sure, you can try and tame him to get consistency, but then you lose those random flashes of brilliance.

bollocks to him, he got the move he wanted for over a year plus the pay rise we wouldn't give him and couldn't do better than an agent written goodbye on twitter and ignoring our fans at the end of the WBA match. I wouldn't boo him, in fact I'll probably clap him at SP for his contributions when he was here but if some fans choose otherwise then good luck to them.

No,it was one of the few yellow cards that was actually warranted last night. However, Bolasie doesn't have a malicious challenge in him it was honest but clumsy.Unfortunately clumsy can still break a leg and therefore a yellow was justifiable. For some peculiar reason Koeman did a bit of a Pardew with Bolasie last night and pushed him in a more central position.I think it helped us more than them as he had less space to operate in and it lessened his threat.I questioned AP when he did it but now Koeman has tried it they must see something I don't.

..Ward went down a little too easily last night.

I was pleased that our players didn't react to any of the challenges made by Bolasie last night. There were some potential flashpoints especially with his foul on Ward.

Regardless of whether Bolasie left for the money, he was a passionate player whilst at Palace and was a supporters favourite (anyone who thinks differently now has a very short memory). I was at last night's match and felt quite ashamed of those who turned on him so vocally. It could have backfired as I've seen it before where a player becomes fired up gets the winner.

..very sad behaviour from our fans, sick even.

But that challenge by Bolasie was ridiculous, I think he was frustrated and saw red.But if Mr Clattenburg had been in charge he may well have seen red.Lucky for him Joel Ward is an honest player and didn't roll about on the floor as a lot of other Premier League players would have.

A bit of perspective here please. A mate of mine took his two lads to the pre-season Valencia game and the ONLY player to blank them outside was Bolasie. After his last game he went straight off - no goodbyes and thanks for the support. Sure, he played with a smile on his face. If I was being paid £35k a week to kick a football, I'd have a smile the width of the Holmesdale!

He's gone and he's fair game.

I was never a Townsend fan. Over-rated, one footed piece of sh*t who played for Spuds. Today, he's f*cking brilliant (yeah, I know he ain't but he's one of ours now).

Wouldn't have boo'd Yala last night but I won't be singing his name when he comes back to Selhurst either. After all, he's just a sh*t Wilfried Zaha - at least until January!.

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Booing a player who gave us his all, helped get us where we are today, was sold at a huge profit... Oh he did not say goodbye to people's satisfaction?

It is a joke.

I agree booing a past player who gave their all is a joke
Sad Yala was seen to have ignored some young supporters on that occasion. I know of many generous things yala did for palace fans off his own back,so maybe the lad had a bad day, we all have them.
I'll clap him back n maybe on his return he may say bye bye nicely ha ha
