3-1 Everton victory. Clattenburg sends off Cabaye because he wants to create some drama for Friday night viewers, and he'll probably give at least one penalty too.

Apparently Everton have lost all 4 games where Clattenberg has officiated - think they have even more problems with him than we do. I go 1-2 (early Palace goal after Clattenberg plays advantage and then win it with a late penalty to Palace). I will wake up from my dream soon. Correction - with Moss now the ref I go 2-1 Everton.

Have done a brief stats preview on my twitter feed. [Tweet Link]
For any of those that don't have twitter... Both Everton and Palace have played the same set of teams each, which makes for some interesting comparisons. Both Everton and Palace points total roughly in line with their performance so far, we have had roughly 55% of the shots in our games (9th best in league), while Everton have had slightly more (59% at 6th best. In terms of shots in the box (generally better shots), Palace have had 57% (8th), and Everton 63% (4th). In the first 6 games, Palace have had 54% of the shots on target in their games. After 6 games last year, this was 43%, so a big improvement - may indicate better control of the games. In terms of styles, Palace continue to have a crossing focussed attack, with the most crosses per game in the league. Everton mix it up a bit more, and are middle of the table in terms of crosses per game and throughballs. Pressing has been mentioned a few times this year around Palace - by a measure I can calculate, we are 2nd in the league, while Everton are 7th. It will be interesting to see if we continue this press tonight. Both teams have started the season well, and both probably deserve to be where they are in the league. Everton look slightly the better team, but we will see tonight whether last week's defeat against Bournemouth has affected them.

I dreamt Everton won 4-1 last night. Woke up in a bad mood about it. Trying to decide whether to stick a quid on to soften the blow if it happens. Especially as I found a quid outside the gym this morning. Knowing my luck we'd lose 5-1 though.

We have a great record at Goodison. For that reason, 2-1 Everton.
