What? What if we lose all the rest of our games to the end of season? Then we are still on 10 points and no team has ever survived with 10 points as far as I know.

After extensive research I can confirm this is a nailed on fact. No one has ever been relegated on 10 points in September. Indeed not many clubs have ever been relegated in September.

I seem to remember the the Dog and Boll**cks pub five a side team did indeed survive the 2012/13 season of the Chipping Sodbury park league with only ten points.

You're right there. I think Palace are the sort of club that should be helping an ex-player transition to management. Look how good Freedman was. I think we ought to wait until we get to 16 points first though before we fire Pardew, I don't want to knee jerk. Hopefully we'll get the 6 more from the next two games then we can send him packing probably for only about a £6m payoff. Then give Delaney or Speroni the job. They are Palace through and through and not getting any younger. I guarantee one of those guys would be able to take us forward and would also appease them for their lack of game time when we field younger men. I see no reason why they can't be joint player/managers. It would help the academy players to have a seasoned professional or two on the pitch with them for the remaining games of the season.
Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes. |

Bookies have us as eleventh favourite for relegation - between Bournemouth and Leicester. After three matches we were third favourite. Even so I still watch out for the relegation candidates and hope they lose, to improve our chances of safety.

OK counting chickens etc. But no team 7th after six games has ever gone down This time last year we were hovering around the same points total as today and we majestically nose dived and were in danger of going down - it happens.
