Caceres would be an amazing signing.

Kelly has been out worst player the past 2-3 weeks.

He admits himself he is not the quickest and is a big fan of Leighton Baines.
Used to be a talented Rugby Union outside-half and as a boy he used to be a wicketkeeper.
I'm sounding like a TV commentator !

Just a thought.

We are allowed to change our 25 named players (excluding those under 21) following the closure of the January window. Are we allowed not to include senior (older) players whose injuries mean they are unlikely to play for the rest of the season. Is a cup match governed by the same named 25 requirement?

Clubs can leave out players from their 25 man squad - they just won't be able to play in PL games if they recover from their injuries !

The PL 25 man squad rules only apply in PL games they don't apply for FA Cup, League Cup etc.

one point Willo didn't mention which could be relevant as it was this time the club can not name 25 players but only if they don't have 25 senior players ie Appiah was in 25 and we had 1 space. I am fairly sure We can not leave a space because a player is injured. So from my reading if we don't have 25 fit players Souare and Wickham would be in squad

If Fryers isn't even in the frame when we have a serious left-back shortage, you have to wonder why they are keeping him at the club. he's 24, it's not like he'd a kid who might come good.

I'd play him in the League Cup game, and make a decision then

oh he's s***. we were mugged. left footed he maybe. but then so am I and still kelly can do better.

fryers will be sold soon unless we go Down I bet.
