I was sent for a medical to Harley St myself and it was so basic my employers were just wasting their money.

Certainly no sign of any specialist equipment that I saw at Gary Nevilles medical it was like a gymnasium.

It was a medical to see if he could play top flight football and altho he looked as fit as a fiddle they told him they could not recommend - the actual medical was quite an ordeal.

The medicals are undertaken for Insurance purposes and as such are covered by legal requirements.Trust me they are thorough and everything is state of the art when dealing with PL clubs.

If that was true players would be joining their new clubs fit to play PL football and that is obviously not the case.

There's a difference between being fit and being fit to play football. A point that has been done to death in other threads.

I see that and the player must be fit to play premier league football (provided we are PL ourselves).

Anything else its the buyers risk - caveat emptor. On the bench and costing the club 40-50k a week.

But why not use your own home grown players you know all about them?

Let them go on loan or got rid (Jedi)

Passed their fitness tests all playing.....

He did of course lay it himself....

Did you say pitch?

Most certainly not European.

Yes why, does it mean something different down under?
