Therefore they can be recalled is they are performing very well and if we have an injury issue. Is that better than them both playing limited minutes for the first team?

AP definitely was quoted as saying that Kaikai would be in the first team squad this season. Sorry, but I don't trust him any more. Williams' situation is a disgrace too - did everything asked of him.

Kai Kai had a good preseason and was certainly put through his paces and if you listen to the interview with Mark Bright the only thing he is lacking is his strength. A season out in the Championship will do him the world of good, far better than 10 minutes here and there whilst warming the bench every few games. There are no lies, just development of players that are not yet ready to replace any of our squad players.

Boateng in particular didn't look out of place against Swansea last year and would sure have put a season of gut busting than some who haven't so far. Give Kaikai the ball and at worst you have a scatty Bolasie, at best-who knows?
Agree. Unfortunately if he didn't get a chance last season with some of the poor performances put in from the supposed regulars couldn't see him getting anything this season. How really poor does the performances need before the youngsters are allowed to step up ? Let's hope some of the loanees have a good season and will at some stage be given a chance. He's better off playing at his level - which lets face it is Championship

League 2 and he wasn't pulling up trees so why would he command a starting birth in the Premier League? If it wasn't detrimental to their progression, I'd love for Pardew to field all these kids he's sending out on loan, to gain experience, and see what a tonking they would get. Are you aware of the amount of loans that most top club players go to before they break into the squad? It is the very few that make that step up straight away.

I thought he looked good against Swansea when he came on, almost winning the game with a narrow miss from a long way out and thought it strange that he wasn't given any extra game time after that. Showed more in those 20 mins than a fair few others at the time. His appearance seemed to give the fans a lift as well.

He had a decent shot and adrenaline was probably sky high making his appearance for the 1st team but the thing is that doesn't last. I would love to see more of our academy players breaking into the team but not before they are ready and I don't think any of them are. Rashford did amazing last season, he looks the real deal though and he also had quality all over the park. We still don't so it's even harder for our youngsters to break in and get a chance, I believe they will when the time is right though but it's just not yet.

I think Kai Kai looks like a decent prospect, hopefully a season on loan will do him the world of good. I personally think he would provide decent cover for our wingers; we don't seem to have many. I actually think (and I hope I'm wrong) that we will be looking to Remy and Wickham to cover the wings this season, as we now have a few options up front.

for flips sake...another anti pardew post. im sure there were conversations with every player going out on loan about potential palace gametime this season. as far as i can see it they would play development team & matches in the early rounds of the cup competitions. you cannot underestimate how much kai kai will learn from a full season in the championship, and its not at all unconceivable that if williams stays fit and starts 30+ games for ippo this season he could take ledley or mutches place in the squad next season. pards cant do anything right, if he doesnt make signings and played kids all season he would getvslaughtered if the gamble didnt work, if he makes very good signings and sends the kids out on loan he gets slaughtered for f*** sake

Apparently it's alright to spam the site with anti threads but if you vocally tell that person to f*ck off you get warned. This board used to be alright, now it's full of w*nkers and snidey c*nts.
