If you think that we've got it bad not knowing what's going on how do you think the players feel as every time we're linked with a new player one of the existing team will be thinking that his place in the side is disappearing.

All this talk of bringing in Wilshere, Rincon and Lima must be hugely unsettling for our current crop of midfielders

...and 2 league wins in 23 games in 2016 is unsettling for fans too. Hence massive changes this transfer window.

I'd be very happy with Thomas Rincon or Lucas Lima..lets try and get one of these over the line!

One more striker..well, I think Connor deserves some praise. He is trying, he has potential. I do criticize him and I think we as fans are harsh on him, but the lad has a future..He hasn't done much yet, but maybe the jury is still on him.

Central Mid is where we need an injection of pace and skill. Honestly, Cabaye doesn't look like the same player. Either he is carrying a knock (which has been for how long?) or he is really losing pace.

What a brilliant day!!
Remy doing the thumbs up resplendent in Red & Blue
And Levy gets the message on Zaha.

Bids in play
Majeed Waris & Lucas Lima - no new news today but I suspect these are still on

Tomas Rincon - Genoa seem to be negotiating in public. We bid £6.5, they ask 8.5m and settle on £7.5m. Bargain!!! (I have no idea why we need him though as we have Cabaye, McArthur, Ledley plus at a push Mutch, Lee & Puncheon as defensive midfield.)

Paper talk
Wilshire - probably would be the best player in the club if we could sign him. Not sure its good for us as a club to hand Jack back after 9 months though!! Unless there is a buy clause, I'm against this.

James McCarthy - great player but I'd rather spend less on Rincon.

If we can get an attacking midfielder over the line more than happy. Whole of the spine of the team improved, really lacking last season through that area in my opinion. A decent defensive midfielder would be the icing on the cake.

So who do you prefer?
Wilshire or Lucas Lima
McCarthy or Rincon

Wilshere as he is already proven in the league and the other transfer looks like a can of worms as far as I can see. In fact I'd personally have both in an ideal scenario and bump on a DM. However Rincon as although he isn't proven in this league as well we have better cover in DM should it turn sour. Tough tho as McCarthy has played with JMac and Palace love a McCarthy around the place. I'd possibly be looking at moving Cabaye further up also with this up grade whoever joins.

Good thinking. The Brazil lad is an unknown for sure and with 26 hours to go may be a waste of valuable negotiation time.

Wilshire will get injured pretty quickly as he will have to work harder in our midfield.

Blimey, it really looks like its going to be Wilshire.

I wonder if there are even more surprises in the last 24 hours.

Night all.

Who knows ! But today will show, I'm hoping for wilshere, yes he's injured a lot but half of that's his own fault. Sometimes he keeps possession to long runs into a dead end and gets chopped down. But if we use him as a no10 get him playing one twos he could be very effective at unlocking defences.

We are favourites for Jack on breakfast news this morning!

Fingers crossed. That would be 6 first teamers signed.
Amazeballs.
