This I'm afraid is rubbish.
1. Three strikers will get more than enough game time if rotated throughout the season with the cups as well as the league.
2. Its a squad game in todays game. Even the very best players in the world understand they will not play every single game.
If Bony and Benteke were to be signed and both did well you can bet both will play far more than they did at Liverpool/City with plenty of game time left to slot Wickham in during the season.

In that case I would choose Benteke if it was one or the other

Thought they slashed his asking price to around £13m a few days ago to get him off their books? Unless theyve upped it again. Would like Bony as plan B instead of Berahino though IMO.

Agreed! Depth in squad for all forms of competition has to be initial transfer plan for every Prem club.

Except for us as we seem to like only one player in each position and play only one formation.

Enough media outlets have now said yes so we're as interested in him as we are supposed to be in all the others. Immaterial now though. If Arsenal want him we may as well back off

You're forgetting we could offer Mutch and Campbell in a swap deal - so our hand is probably much stronger than you may think.
