Play silly games, win stupid prizes.
Feel for his family, and the police officers... But this dude played a major part in his own demise.

Which one. The guy who was physically restrained or the guy driving his family.

I'd say their role is minor and negligible. Neither seems to have been holding a gun when they were shot.

I think poor training and procedures played a much more significant role, along with what appears to be a general disdain for human life among US Police officers

He's talking about the former.

What you just wrote made me think though.

The guy in the other one wasn't driving. If they were pulled over for a broken rear light they'd approach the driver.

Optimistic as ever

He was sitting behind the wheel.

Time to move forward together.

The video I saw on the BBC is heavily blurred. I just read that the video has been reversed for some reason.

Possibly, but that wouldn't change who's sitting in what seat.

I didn't see the steering wheel, just that the footage shows him on her right which would be the passenger seat in the US.

He's actually on her left as the video is flipped.

You see the wheel in the first 10secs.

Not on the BBC one I saw earlier you don't, it was edited and blurred out.

They've now put the full version on but it's still blurred.

In both videos you cannot see what happened.

The first man man appears to be restrained but they realise he has a gun and shoot him. Looks unnecessary to me but I expect they will claim that they followed procedure.

The wheel is there as clear as day after about 8 seconds

The second guy also had his seat belt on. If he was about to be aggressive it would be a lot easier and logical if he had unrestrained himself.

Looks like a possible murder to me.
