I was hoping with the benteke deal dragging/over? we would move our attention to Bony but it seems we went in the direction of berahino... I would really prefer Bony, seems to be the type of striker to fit what we do IMO

If we have to choose between Bere/Bente/Bony then given the wide play we like to exploit either Benteke or Bony make so. Berahino less so and you would think he would play in behind the main striker.

So I would be thinking it is one or the other.

You know, with all this drawn out saga with Benteke (and now Berahino) I am surprised Palace haven't looked into the possibility of trying to do a straight forward deal for Bony. I suspect he'd be a bit cheaper than Benteke too. I rate Bony. Some may disagree but I think he'd be very effective in our team.
Who knows? Maybe Palace have enquired and been told by City its a no go?

The deal wold be just a complated as man city still owe money to Swansea City. Personally see bony returning to Swansea with them writing the money off.
