Darren Ambrose So so many screamers during a very tough time for us. Sheffield United volley... League cup at United... Cilla free kick! Too much love for that man For me Vince Hilaire followed by Ian Wright. But a good call, for sheer memorable moments in recent times, you can't go passed Ambrose.

It has to be the late, great Johnny Byrne. Won England cap while in Division 3,(league 1 nowadays.) So good Hammers paid £65000.00 for him which was a British record fee at the time. Went on to win Cup Winners and European Cup Winners medals plus scored a hat trick for England away in Lisbon when England beat Portugal 4-3. Of course we ave had some fabulous players as well like Don Rogers, Jim Cannon, Kenny Samson and Ian Wright to name a few. Ditto

Mark Bright for me Not many others that are close to that for me but Ian Wright, Nigel Martyn, Julian Speroni, Wilf Zaha and Clinton Morrison would be in the top 10.

Shocked and amazed that Jim Cannon hasn't featured more in people's selections? The younger ones I can understand as he played before their time, but somebody has put down Cliff Holton and Bobby Kellard and not even put Jim on the list? Jimbo would be on the very top of any list I could construct. He was one of our most loyal players and an inspirational captain.
