Well the first 2 would be two more one-England-cap wonders to go along with Campbell and Kelly. How about adding Jake Livermore, John Ruddy and Martin Jarvis Has a solid number of sit com farces behind him. Probably fit in quite well at the Palace.

Martin Jarvis would be superb reader of the game as long as can keep up with his Radio 4 committments.

Best call so far is Artem Dzyuba - 6'5" knows how to score, 27 years old and would cost around £7m.

how about we lookat players who have lost their way in this country like we did in dann & wickham. delph cant help thet think if we spend big on unproven talent we will end up with a ricky van wolfswinkle rather than a sadio mane.

Delph is a superb player and has had a bad season due to injuries but still almost made the squad for France. Very interesting to see if Pep drops him down the order or even out of their 25 man squad. Doubt he would come cheap though! Chambers on loan and as a back up both in central defence and right full back is a worthwhile shout also. Sinclair sorry but he is a no thanks from me - numerous better options than a guy who has done nothing these past four years or so. His Villa colleague Ayew, and Redmond of Norwich are both preferable.

Personally I think we should go in for Micah Richards. Ex England international, Played for Man City when they won the league and was fantastic defender who has lost his way. They always say that form is temporary but class is permanent. He's only 27 and we could help to revive him. He can also play central defender or write back. Considering Villa of gone down I think he's worth a punt

If we do go for a big name signing as some think, it has to be someone who will hit the ground running. We need that person to produce the goods on the field and have the never say die attitude when things arnt going our way. They also need to be good trainers and lead by example. Troy Deeney would be where i would spend the money. Not a big name but would fit us very well. Minimal risk as we know what a beast he has been for Watford over the past few years. Very good injury record too!
