Unfortunately the time to move on was the day after we sold him, he wasn't in the mangers plans so was sold, I like many was a huge fan and the guy deserves his cult status. So we should bring him back and do what with him ? He's not prem level now I'd say and he wouldn't make the bench. Murray coming back is regression seeing as we now have a 30 mill plus striker, wickham who's still young enough to improve and hopefully remy back when he's healed. That's a very good prem strike force and one that might be added to in Jan if Campbell or one of the younger strikers are moved on.

Scored both Brighton goals in their 2-0 win over Barnsley today. Now I'm not suggesting he should replace Benteke, but he should not have been pushed aside for Sanogo or Wickham or Adebayor. Before any smartarse's remind us all GM was gone when the Togo international arrived my point is we would never have needed the £100K pw waster had we retained the grim Cumbrian.

I remember being really annoyed at Gayle for a while. As him not taking the move to Norwich meant the club needed to sell Murray. Although I liked both strikers, for me Murray was the one who was going to do the job for us and the player we have struggled to replace for the last 2 years.

What is the point of going on about Murray, he has gone. So what if he scored goals against Barnsley, nobody has ever disputed that is his level.
