I believe that in the past Enoch Powell and Rhodesia's last apartheid leader Iain Smith were supposedly Palace supporters. Can't say I'm a supporter of either gentleman. A 2001 HOL feature about celebrity supporters is here. [Link]

Agree completely, are the same people who are offended by a fan with different political beliefs also offended by fans of a different skin colour or religion ?

I couldn't care less, I'm not a ukip supporter but will be voting out.
Typical left wing liberals, preach all to be treated equally but are the first to attack someone for having different beliefs. Can't stand them.

U wot m8?

Have the Labour Party come out in opposition of Farage's support of Palace?

Also, loving these little disclaimers: "I'm not a UKIP supporter, but..."

Theres no shame in being a UKIP supporter, however, you cannot go on whinge about how you're attacked for having different beliefs then go and attack those with different beliefs...

I expect he’s a Palace fan in the same way David Cameron is an Aston Villa - I mean West Ham fan.

No, it is Villa. I think.

Burnley.

Goldberg was at Alleyn's not Dulwich College I believe.

But he did go to Dulwich College Prep School. Or Dulwich Prep London as it is now called

I fully agree with this. It seems that there is an absolute intolerance to any views that fall outside of the status quo. It's more depressing to read some of the usual bile spewed comments on here than the fact that Nigel Farage supports our great club. He's hardly Adolf Hitler is he? From what I've seen of him and how he conducts himself I reckon he's the kind of person who it would be good to go for a pint with. At least he's interesting and has the courage of his convictions. I dread the day we're all brain washed into thinking like Liberal sheep with no thoughts of our own. Eddie Izzard also has quite strong political views on the other side of the political spectrum, but that's ok supposedly.

The point about Farage having the freedom to speak his mind, is the same point that allows other people to call him a racist...or a bellend.

bellend - yes, it's an opinion
racist - only if you've got some sort of evidence to back it up (rather than a kneejerk Guardian/Mirror reaction because you don't like his politics) otherwise you run the risk of looking like a bit of a tool

There's an obvious chant there. His son will probably be the one hiding if we sing it.

How old is he? Trying to figure out if I was at Alleyn's at the same time.

A quick google tells me Goldberg went to Alleyn's leaving in 1982, if he stayed to complete his A levels.
