What happened to Brannigan's Crisps?

Beef & Mustard - Don't like Mustard
Lamb & Mint - Get some more mate
Smoked Ham & Pickle - And some more of these

Poundland or yer 99p shop do the above. Got to search bloody hard for them though, keep moving stock about.

..in school back in the early 70s during breaks, we could get those potato puffs (think they were called that) they were unbelievably YUM YUM! does anyone remember them?

2p a packet. Greedy Jaime D in my class used to bag five from the tuck shop and not share any of them.

They were fab.

I don't know what brought this on but while on the subway this morning I suddenly had a craving for a crisp (technically not a crisp BTW) which used to resemble for want of a better description a matchstick just plain Ready salted but I cant recall the name of them or If indeed they still make them.

They're called Chip Sticks. You can still get them in salt and vinegar.

Blue and white stripey packs. Ready salted used to be red and white but they stopped making them.

sainsburys do an own brand version. I think Iain is referring to 'potato sticks' rather than chip sticks - they're fatter than chip sticks. Correct me if I'm wrong
