When you look at the other options available we may be tempted to push the boat out. Pardew is ambitious and if we can offload a couple too, should be should be within our range. Plus if he only cost them 12 million in the summer and only played a handful of games we should be able to get him for less than 20 million, especially if he wants regular game time.

Think this puts this one to bed, reported via sky sports: ZAZA NOT ON THE MOVE Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has said that forward Simone Zaza isn't going anywhere in the current window, despite being linked with a loan move to the Premier League. "I don't understand why he should go away, there should not be this storm about him. I speak to him every day, he is a player with great quality who has improved a lot and is important for us, so it's fair that he stays here. We have four top-quality players in attack and they should fight for their places."

How many times have you heard that from a manager just before a sale.....means nothing. Any player who wants to go to the euros in the summer needs to be playing regularly for the rest of the season and this guy won't be happy playing a bit part. Not saying it will happen, but wouldn't rule it out because of what his manager says.

If we can offload Campbell to Hull or anyone else, we should and buy 2 high quality strikers. Chamakh, Gayle and Wickham can clearly do a job. Bamford and Campbell are just not PL standard. Edited by indianapalace85 (06 Jan 2016 1.00am)
