Remy - proven premiership goal scorer over a number of season's. Austin has a good year last season but premiership defences work players out pretty quickly and no guarantee he will repeat his performance this season. I also remember before he went to QPR the medical picked up issues with his knee ( though that does not seem to have been an issue since )

Remy. Austin can't do anything Murray can't. Remy can.

Definitely Remy. We'd be mad to pay £15 million for Austin.
Keep Gayle & Murray, sell Campbell.

Austin scored 18 goals in a struggling team. Imagine how many he could score with our service. No brainer- Austin .

17?

I joke. But our delivery will hopefully be better with Yohan in the tea.

Yep, I agree with this.

Really hope we can get Remy.

Remy has struggled a bit in very good sides. Goals scored have been made for him. He certainly has more class and perhaps a better all round game than Austin. Not sure if he will get stuck in.

Austin is not just another Murray. He has a fierce shot. In addition he has made a number of the goals he scored last year for himself in a struggling team.

Very different options not sure who will best fit into our team ethics. For me all comes down to perceived attitude of the player to coming to Palace and none of us know that.

Pretty sure Pards would go for Remy given he knows the player and likes 'footballers'

No one of them. Both have a history of injuries and both are prone to more injuries. And both are priced far too high. I would like us to splash the big money on a recognized central defender. Like Van Dijk. I think players like Murray and Chamack are more than good enough to score goals with the service from Zaha, Bolasie,Punch and Cabaye.

Be happy with either, truth be told.

spot on. Why spunk 15 mil on a striker when what we've got is already good enough. Gayle could be a top top striker if given a run of games. He scored 10 goals last year dont forget and that was as being backup most of the year. Play gayle and bring in a top quality centre back, potentially another winger to compete with Wilf and Bolasie

I'd prefer him on the pitch.

Remy would be the preferred option as he and Cabaye may have a little rapport already built due to both being French. Remy and Austin have both proven they are capable of delivering consistently in the prem as strikers, Remy for longer than one season albeit, but Austin a little more goals from a much lesser team. All this aside you can't argue either one would be a fantastic addition to the squad. Given the option however, I would say Remy due to the fact the Euro is next year in France and he and Cabaye will want a place in their squad. This year will be the year that they can prove their worthiness, I think they will "want it more". I think English players tend not to feel as patriotic at the top end of ther leagues. Also price wise Austin will most likely cause a bidding war whilst Remy has a slightly lower price in relation to his potential due to his lack of game time this season. On a different note I think Gayle needs more game time up the top. If he keeps lifting weights in the gym and works on his ability to hold the ball up he could become a remarkable player and we wouldn't need to buy another striker.
(First post, be gentle)
