@EDS_Amy: Dame N'Doye considering a wage cut to join Crystal Palace. Potential 3 year deal on table #cpfc #hcfc No thanks.

£4m gives us room on the wages. Long as we nab Austin or Remy this will have been a savvy deal.

The average wage in the premiership is around £40k pw though doubtless this is skewed by high paying teams and individual salaries. This isn't a disproportionate salary. Not for football, perhaps, but in any other walk of life it's obscene. Most people would be thrilled to get that a year - I know I would. Fair point but the premeirship is hugely successful and one of the UK's more successful exports. Why shouldn't they get paid in a way that reflects that
Hopkins has curled a good video of this guy. Disregard my last post! He looks a good alround striker and could be what passes these days as a snip...getting used to playing in the PL with Hull, but with much better service from our wide players, he could make a decent impact Remember the video when we signed Andy Dorman? Some great goals and looked like he would really take us forward That went well........

Cant decide how I feel about this one - he finished well and played well against us but then again so did most of them - we were f*cking awful that day. He could be another Alex Dyer - has a blinder against us for Hull at Selhurst, we sign him, he is then total underpants

I trust in Pardews eye for a striker and N'Doye looked decent against us, would be an improvement on Campbell. 5 goals in 15 games for a January signing isn't too bad. If we were to land him then I guess our biggest signing will probably be in another position. So it likely rules out Austin and Remy.

why not look at Jelavic from Hull instead? Becuase he's just a s*** Glen Murray

£4m gives us room on the wages. Long as we nab Austin or Remy this will have been a savvy deal. Exactly this. If we end up with a four man strike force led by Remy and with Murray and Chamakh as two other parts of it, N'Doye will be a superb addition. If we are looking for him to be the number 1 striker then it's more open to question. Either way, though, he's a giant upgrade on Campbell or Gayle.

Anybody is a giant upgrade on Campbell who at best is Championship & facts of 31 goals in 140 games for Sunderland, Hull & us prove that.
