I would agree with you to a certain degree about alienating our current youngsters by taking a 20 year old on loan but this guy is not far off a full French international with premier league and champions league experience so they would do well to knuckle down and learn from the boy! As others have said though I would be very surprised if Chelsea let him leave for 12 months!


If any young CB gets forwarded to the first team squad it shouldvsurely be Ryan Innis

Agreed re: Innis. Although perhaps he needs a try-out in the championship first.

After those awesome reinforcements that we made as most of us know (watch the Poll: 65%) the priority is picking one centre back.
From the possibilities Kourt Zouma is the one that we need to raise the bar!

We can't have 2 loans from Chelsea. They wont be letting him leave in any case.

I would have to agree, can't have two loans from the same club but more importantly Chels haven't bought anybody of note in in that position. Perminant hard on for me if happened but can't see it.

Have no fear, we have more than enough for another fine, mid-table finish.

Good centre-halves are tough to get hold of. They will be working on it.

There was another alternative but Newcastle overtaked Pardew in snatch Mbemba from Anderlecht...is just a coincidence?!...
