I blow hot and cold on Charlie Austin but I now think most of his negatives can be directly related to his being a pretty good striker in a crap team!. I think we could promise him more at Selhurst as we have the potential to provide a pretty good service from the flanks. With the poor service our wide players provide, he'd be lucky to score in a whorehouse. Are you implying Zaha and Bolasie would make bad pimps? I feel we have a fair shout at Austin. I feel he's probably at the top of our list, but not at the top of Southampton's or Spurs', getting in early with a decent deal could make all the difference. We need to be going for a couple of Strikers early, Gestede probably another one and if rumours are true than maybe that Eder too.

Your not called "blind eagle" for nothing are you. You must be blind as when was the last time you was at Selhurst Park, never I bet, because there is no potential it that area for a new ground, and only very limited potential for improving Selhurst Park due to the close proximity of the residential properties on all four sides. Any chance of moving to the old Crystal Palace were scuppered by the Spurs, West Ham, situation with the Olympic stadium, and there is virtually nowhere in the Croydon area that could accommodate a new stadium, the parking, and transportation, the club over many years have looked at moving on a number of occasions including being offered the old Croydon Airport site in Purley Way in the 1950-60s. According to the present Chairman, no the Yanks aren't coming thank god for that.

I'm only identified as Blind Eagle because I don't see too well at present but perhaps if things do not go well I shall become as blind as you suggest. I was bred and born just a gentle stroll down Portland Road ,South Norwood, from Selhurst. I have been a Palace supporter for 70 years so in view of your litany of restrictions and impossibilities for any expansion of facilities I am anxious to hear what the future of our Club is. To what extent has Parish tried to address these issues? It seems we might have to down size our ambitions and just be a smaller club without too many ideas of going for the big time. I'm sorry to hear that we are not going to get a windfall from The Yanks as I thought this might make a difference but as you would not want them anyway , I enquire if there is a way we could raise additional capital in Britain with which to finance players and limited ground improvements? Perhaps my most pressing concern is how will all these impediments to expansion affect the Club from the point of view of morale? We might conceivably reach a point where every body just gets pissed off and leaves. I would certainly hope not and so I do hope Parish will begin to think out loud and let us know what and where our future really is. I can now understand why you are so depressed but its clinical so there is every possibility you will get better and I certainly do hope so!.

For someone claiming to have supported Palace for over 70 years, your very negative about the club, I've only supported them through thick and thin since 1953, and never speak negative of the club, the only person I had no time for was Simon Jordan.

That's an observation of a players skills or lack of not a negative remark about the club, but a fact that both Bolasie and Zahas distribution into the danger area is poor and I stand by that comment, something AP has said himself.
