Massive pro-scousers bias on the beeb - but then if you have 2 ex players as pundits what can you expect.

A couple of weeks ago Shearer said Pulis should be Manager of the Year and Hansen scoffed 'yeah, only if Liverpool don't win the league' very dismissively. Really wound me up.

Well fvck you Hansen.

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely

Anyone saying there is not a big team bias in the media is obviously deluded.

Of course there's a big team bias.

Because the big teams have more supporters, and telly will ALWAYS cater to what the majority want to see.

I'm not that bothered about it.

Thought Jonathan pearce was very complimentary about our fans and our football, then again he almost comes across as a Palace fan whist commentating on Palace games.

Used to live in Pampisford Road, Purley. I think very close family of his are Palace.

I think you'll find he is an Arsenal fan, but his wife and her family are Palace and does have a soft spot for us.

I remember donkeys years ago sitting in the Old Stand, and JP was sitting behind me commentating for Capital Gold on a night game. I can't remember who we were playing but it was a dire game, and all you could here was Pearce screaming as though it was the 'El Classico'

Great commentator imo.

Beautiful play.

But of course it's only because the defence cocked up. If the shirts were reversed it would be about the f***ing SaS *vomits*

Nice gif PG. I was in the newsagents this morning and had a butcher's at most of the papers to see what they were saying. Lots of coverage of Goofy crying & Gerrard looking bereaved, some praise for our spirit and amazing support, but several called Dann's ball to Murray a "long ball" or "pump forward" as if it was just an aimless hoof from our box.

When you watch it back you can see it was a very precise, beautifully judged pass which Murray controlled brilliantly to chest it right into Gayle's path, who then finished with the aplomb of a prem veteran.

Had it been the other way round the pundits would've come in their pants at the beauty of the move, instead on MOTD it was rushed past and dismissed by Fowler as a "pump forward". I said it before, but how many times did Gerrard "pump it forward" from the edge of his box?

By the way, how the hell does Robbie Fowler get a job as a pundit? The least articulate person I've ever seen, who can hardly speak a legible sentence, comes across as thick as pigsh*t and has zero insight. Seriously, that our license fee goes to paying him to inform us is simply a joke.

The double standards are breathtaking but unsurprising. We've been defying expectations for too long to worry about the media's bias towards the big clubs. Let them carry on underestimating us and we'll carry on shoving their crap back down their throats and showing why we're the most passionate and vocal supporters in the country.

Gary Neville is an honourable exception. He is a class above his punditry colleagues and has heaped praise on us time and again. Respect to him but the rest of them can f*ck right off.

He supports Bristol City, not Arsenal but his wife and her family are all Palace fans. He lives in East Sussex now - my young cousins live near him and play for the same football club as his son.

A top bloke by all accounts and has a soft spot for us due to the family connection, but Brizzle are his club.

Henry Winter in the Independant about Liverpool

They needed to appreciate that the Palace fans’ phenomenal, unconditional, impassioned backing would inspire Bolasie and company

Last night he put on Twitter

#cpfc losing but loud. Some clubs have singing sections. At Palace, every section is a singing section

I like Henry

Again at one point last night the whole, and I mean whole ground was just bouncing and the noise was phenomenal..about the only people sitting were the subs bench and Willo

Thats what I love about our club - we do have seem to have developed this 'unconditional' support from somewhere

I hope thats stays and we dont attract those with expectations and unrealistic ones at that...that just leads to moaning and groaning and the dilution of the passion and noise.

I dont want to be West Ham, booing even when they win because of a misguided belief in their team and its position in life

I dont want to be Arsenal, complaining about the noise in the away end when they play us with each goal being accompanied by polite clapping

I dont want to be Man Utd, a stadium full of day trippers who dont distinguish between a day at Old Trafford and a Day at Madame Tussauds

I dont want to be Chelsea who employ staff to wave flags and try to shake their now middle class support from its middle class expectaion and middle class apathy..

I have serious man love for this club at the moment

The seeds have always been there in our time Sash. Remember the 5,000-8000 crowds? We were still as noisy as fvck in the AW and those were the days we literally had nothing really to shout about.

And the away support has always always been generally magnificent from way back before then even.

Those seeds have now fully germinated with another 15,000 on board at Selhurst.

A memorable season indeed.

True Kerms - although we still did have a moan an groan - well I did anyway - mainly at Gary Stebbing or when Carlisle turned us over at home with about 25 in the ground (well it seemed like it at the time)

I also recall going to Carlilse away and losing 4-1. At least Doris scored a penalty. Last nights atmosphere was just superb. I can't ever recall a Palace team coming back from 3-0 down.

His wife and kids are season ticket holders, although he supports Bristol City. Used to love those Capital Gold Commentaries.

He really is good - I've got alot of time for him.

Articulate and incisive, which most pundits are not.

Funny how, when he put on a football shirt, I thought he was the biggest knob ever, but now he's the exact opposite.
