Join another set of fans celebrating? Good grief.

What is wrong with some people? The only celebrating I do, is with my fellow palace fans and certainly not with another London club.

Absolutely, plus there is another thread where the majority would not wish to see Liverpool fans celebrating on our pitch; I don't think it's something we should be doing at Fulham ourselves.

Any man who invades another man's pitch is gay.

Can you not remember the traditional last home game of the season pitch invasion. I see no problem with fans running on in celebration but not to take the piss or cause trouble.

Yes I can recall such events, I am not that senile !
But the 'Football Offences Act' of 1991 is clear in it's wording.
Besides, any "Celebration" by supporters can be viewed quite differently by 'Away' supporters leading to confrontation. In short, Stay off the pitch !

I remember the city pitch invasion I also remember we had a pitch invasion at QPR one year ! Was it 91 ?

I remember a scary great horse that day. Don't recall it was much fun to be honest.

I recall it being a blast but, and this is the important thing, spontaneous.
I also remeber them clearing the pitch and fans pretty much returning to whichever part of the ground they fancied, all mingling more than happily.

Weren't a large number of them dressed as Blues Brothers too?

EDIT: sorry - talking about the Citeh invasion rather than QPR obviously

yep , I was just about to mention that , as we walked out this police woman was going on about the trouble on the pitch and I said to her , well you could have stopped the palace fans getting on the pitch , she wasn't impressed

The many Palace fans who have tickets in the "neutral" area will be able to mix with the home fans in any pitch invasion. No-one will know they're Palace anyway...will they?

But it would be much more fun to piss on their parade and send them down!!

I was speaking to a Fulham supporter yesterday who belives that his team will be down anyway before our game with them following the results this Saturday.Fulham go to Stoke on Saturday.

That'll be a shame if they are down, I want us to do it, pulis turning us into a proper team has denied us our usual do or die on the last day so we've got to get some enjoyment out of the game

Clint, you are a sadistic barsteward

I know, I just can't help it, you wouldn't believe I actually quite like Fulham as well, they've always been harmless

No problem there Willo - it would be very difficult to swat your flies when you are sitting down as a good fan should be .....

True fella, bit like my mother in law as well, she's harmless, but I still wouldn't mind punching her in the face every now and then. :-)
