A few more goals would be welcome.

While I think our expectations for next season have to be realistic I do believe that now is the time for Parish and his co-directors to have long and detailed discussions with Pulis. The most important items on the agenda are the immediate additions to the current team which I reckon are at least four good signings. Then the ground which depends on the longer term plans because if we would be able to go for a 50k seater stadium would we be able to fill it?. There is a need to keep a strong eye on the finances as we plan. The training ground facilities have to be improved as Pulis has already indicated. Overall I would say lets try and aim for a mid-table berth for next year and then review our plans again. Our future is, in all probability, a moving target so its all a question of planning and reviewing as we go along but having said that,we must also have a semblance of an idea as to what we want.

a few seasons of mid table obscurity, regularly beating the promoted teams will do me fine.

Like Stoke?

Bit boring though. For Palace.

50k may be a bit much, but 40+k is a worthwhile size. Palace have a solid base of 17-19k regrdless of the division and so there's not much they can do to increase gate receipts currently. I think they'll get closer to 30k as an average in the Prem, plus you get to fill it up for the big games, both in the league and the cup.

In lieu of an interested oligarch (who are more often than not a disaster), revenue is king for Palace. That means a bigger stadium is a priority.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

i dont think relegation will be as much of a threat of the rest.

The newly promoted teams are hardly well-financed and I cant imagine Leicester or Burnley making big offseason purchases.

Wigan is the only potential playoff winner who i could see being a threat to stay up as well.

There were two parts to this season pre Pullis and post Ollie. Dann and Ledley (TP's) have made as big an impact as Punch, Chammi and Jerome (Ollies). Some results have been as much about belief (say Everton) as tactics and team so next season will not be a seamless follow on from the last few months but with a couple of signings mainly a left back as TP doesn't have faith in Mox or Parr we could take another step forward.
I think that a drop to say 15th would be as much a success as this seasons 11th (guesstimate). I would like to see a cup run but it wouldn't break my heart if we didn't get beyond third round in either, I would also like to see some of the youngsters come through (and not just as Championship loanees). Most of all I would like to see this seasons soak em up and break quick through the wings is not sussed (too early).

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

Stay up, ......get in a couple of good signings to boost the squad, start some infrastructure work at the ground and Beckenham

Basically this.

So long as it's fun, I'm not that bothered.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Both of these with bells on. Stay up, have fun, improve some of the quality in the squad and work on the ground and training ground equals a happy me and a successful season.

All of this with bells on!

And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways

Strengthening the squad and staying up again. Doesn't matter if we finish 10th or 17th. Oh,and Dwight Gayle scoring 10+ goals for us.

I'd expect a scrap all season long, flirting with relegation. But, so long as we don't go down, I'd be happy. I'd like to see Murray back on form to give us some real threat on goal, but I wouldn't want to see too many come in over the summer. We need to work on the unit, thats what we've done so well so far.
