The main reason we are where we are is CPFC2010. What they have done for the club is nothing short of miraculous. Their stewardship has helped to create a togetherness that I've not known or felt at Palace before, even during the golden years when we reached the Cup final and finished third. What we have now is a club that is united and all pulling in the same direction. It's a simple science to put together but there's always seemed to be a spanner in the works one way or another where Palace have been concerned in the past. I think that with CPFC2010 in charge though we can go on to establish ourselves as a Premier League club indefinitely and with a new ground with bigger capacity and the fans turning up in their droves to support the lads as ferociously as they have the past few seasons, then we could be in for some very good times ahead.

I think with Tony Pulis as our manager and what he has accomplished the board should seriously consider having him around as long as Man U has Sir Alex Ferguson...
Long live Tony Pulis.

He'd be 82.....

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I was inside Selhurst Park when we kicked off the season with Zaha making his debut and we beat Leicester 3-2 "all" those years ago. Our saviours, the guys from CPFC2010, was introduced before game started: I was so proud - goosebumps on my arms and tears in my eyes. And they have delivered big time after that. Long may they stay and with hard working TP at the helm the mighty Eagles have finally arrived!!!!Now let us show soccer fans worldwide what Crystal Palace FC really are when City Bank and Liverpool visit us.

Since 2010 took over we have had a lot of luck to get us to where we are now but their appointment of Pulis shows how much they have learned in a short space of time and also their ambitions for the club.
Having someone with his knowledge & experience at the helm could definitely be the catalyst to us securing long term Premiership status. It's also great to hear him in press conferences as he speaks assuringly and is very open. Good things ahead for CPFC!

Really ! All luck until now? Wow tough audience

I think most of the audience realise that our success was not lucky and appreciate the hard work that has gone on behind the scenes to turn our fortunes round. Congrats CPFC2010 and thanks a million.

It seems my post has been taken the wrong way!

For the record, I'm not putting our position purely down to luck and that there has been no hard work involved. As someone said, you buy your own luck and the luck I was talking about is the speed in which we have done it, especially looking at our run-in last season and us scraping into the play-offs pretty much due to others around us performing badly too. Once there we got the job done without luck and this season we've had our share of misfortunes too.

I haven't ever doubted the board and have always thought they will take us forward any of my previous posts about them will clarify that.

Your post was taken the wrong way. I agree we have had things go in our favour, particularly at the end of last season. No one doubts the impact of 2010 and what they have done for the club and we will always be grateful.

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

No need to justify yourself!

Agree.

Like when 2010 took charge, I didn't know what the future held. But I knew Palace were back in safe hands. No more starry-eyed mega-bucks men with a toy to have fun with. I feel if Palace were to suffer a set back the establishment that is Palace would weather on. The future is made of stern stuff.
