No thank you.

Let's beat them and f*ck up their title bid. Would rather City won it

So will there be a similar recognition of 25 years since the Heysel Stadium disaster in 2015 - the 36 fans who died, the 600 who were injured, or the 14 Liverpool fans who served manslaughter sentences of 3 years apiece for their part in events.

The Hillsborough disaster was awful, the authorities attempts to cover up and the treatment of the families even worse, and the commemorations 25 years later well made. But will there be a memorial at Anfield to the fans who died at Heysel and will the commemorations be just as poignant?

I am expecting much of Liverpool FC next year in this regard and I hope they show what kind of a club they are by doing the right thing.

At this stage, we must be hoping for Chelsea to win it, if only because either Liverpool or Citeh taking the title probably involves beating us. F*ck that.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

And it would only be fair if we did beat all three...

I couldn't give a flying f*ck who wins the title, I want Palace to win every game they enter and if any part of CPFC wants to bend over for them to stick it up us and win the league on our f*cking patch then it is an absolute embarrassment.

I hope they need a win and we don't give it to them, I hate Liverpool with a passion. All forgotten Heysel have we? The media are awash with Liverpool people bigging them up all the time, let's not believe everything they've fed us, eh?

Dannyboy - excellent post. Absolutely flushed out CPFC opinion on something like this with some fantastic abuse.

Personally the idea of singing anyone else's song makes me feel slightly nauseous no matter what the occasion so it's a no from me. I like our songs to be as unique and annoying as possible to the opposition (I mean the whole Palace goal celebration would absolute drive me crazy if I was in the away section. I'm pretty sure we have one of the most irritating (to them) celebrations in the whole league:

Scorer for Crystal Palace iiiiiiis Jason Puncheon.
Jaaaaason (all) PUNCHEON!
Boom boom boom boom boom
And I'm feeling GLAD ALL OVER
etc.

F*ck me how annoying. Brilliant.

There's a lot of anger and animosity (real or not I dunno... think some people like sounding tough over the internet. I say good luck to liverpool. As other posters said they've played good football this season, rodgers has done a great job and along with pulis they are managers of the season. Why all the negativity? Palace don't have to sing you'll never walk alone but we can shoew respect to our team and theirs on what will, hopefully, be a great day.

F*ck me some people on here have a short memory or are thick as sh*t.

We don't have a problem with Liverpool? Nah. I mean their fans ran around Europe thieving and trashing cities that led to the Heysal 'incident' and thus English teams getting banned (Liverpool's dirty little secret they like to brush under the carpet).

We've never liked Liverpool and never will. You think they would bend-over for us if we secured safety at Anfield? Like f*ck they would. They smashed our coaches windows when we beat them in the FA cup up there a few years back.

F*cking hate media-darlings Liverpool and would rather anyone won the league other than them.

^^^^This in heaps. Don't stick your tongues up the scousers arrises this should be our time our lap of honour at the end and our recognition. Never forget they cheated us from Europe and got there ban overturned but also some of that also fell at the feet of Noades believing we would get some cream from it which never materialized.

Not often we agree, but the only thing I would sing is "who stuck the ball in the scousers net?"

Filthy club and supporters glammed up by the myriad of BBC connections. Also can't stand those muggy half Liverpool / half celtic scarves, like you can support two clubs. Pah!

"Everything is air-droppable at least once."

"When the going gets tough, the tough call for close air support."

What a load of old bollox this thread is. I want Chelsea to beat Liverpool at Anfield followed by us beating them at Selhurst to take the title race to the last day.

I then want Liverpool to win it.

I suspect you want us to sing Blue Moon When the city fans come as well? Why would we do anything but support our team? We held a minutes silence against villa, and paid our respects.
