Take a look at their Messageboard! Just been reading the Allardyce v Pulis thread and this really is an astute summary. re: Pulis V Allardyce Pulis stands on the touchline barking out orders and giving his players encouragement while Allardyce sits slumped in his chair looking fed up. Pullis knows that to win games you have to not only score but also push for that 2nd or 3rd. Allardyce asumes if you keep it tight one goal will always be enough. Pullis has played 2 upfront if needed. Allardyce hardly ever does. Pullis has gone for it against the top teams. He has at least tried to attack them. Allardyce goes into those games hoping and playing for a 0-0. Pullis allows his players to shoot from range. Allardyce fines his for doing so even if they score. Pullis has adapted his style of management and tried to be more forward and modern thinking. Allardyce refuses to change his ways. To arrogent.
Our club and fans deserve better than both Pullis and Sam but if it came down to just those two then Pullis over Toady anyday.

At least he has the good grace to dislike our former quisling Scottish manager.

Great listening to Five Live this afternoon with Spammer fans queuing up to slag off Fat Sam. Rubbish tactics, same old same old, no flexibility, hoof it to Carroll and hope, fans streaming out before the final whistle..... Poetry!

on the odd occasion I try to give an informed opinion on such topics. I try and emphasise with the oppositions point of view. It makes for a more intellectual fansite. You MUG Sam

How did we get through 4 pages of comments about Fat Sam's mewling pie hole, and how Andy Carroll should be allowed a free pass in our penalty area, without anyone mentioning that, a week or so ago, Carroll punched a 'keeper in the face to make him drop the ball so that a teammate could score? The whole time he was on TV whining about Mile's hip-check, no one thought to ask him about it? Allardyce is an idiot. Carroll is rubbish. West Ham are perhaps the worst outfit I've seen against Palace this season. I'm sure Pulis trained all week by kicking balls at a tree with a pony tail pinned to it, with Dann and Delaney clearing what ricochets off it. Edited by Ray in Houston (21 Apr 2014 3.13pm)
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

Yes his hand caught the keepers head and then the keepers arm causing him to drop the ball whilst Carroll was going up for a header. There was nothing malicious at all.

Strange that he never mentioned the obstruction on JP and the Kevin Nolan deliberate hand ball... Just like Wenger " I didn't see anything" Well I thought we all realized by now that Big Sam was never anything but partisan and judging by the derision spewed upon him by his fans over his substitutions against us and the gradual drain of his supporters before the final whistle on Saturday afternoon, I would assume he is more or less on his way out. He is one for Man Utd and Newcastle to consider as manager replacements as I think he would fit in very well at either of those locations. I just hope that the mold Big Sam was cast in is going out of fashion so we can have real men in future who can manage clubs.

What a cheek! Complaining about Palace's tactics whilst all his team can do is hoof the ball long. How I'd love to him relegated next season!
And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways |

Challenging for the ball in such a manner is what a manager would expect of his centre-forward.There was nothing malicious at all just a determined effort to win the header. Wouldn't fans give a centre-forward some stick if he only made a half-hearted effort ?
