The Chelsea game was huge not only for this season but the next one as well. Despite everything many of the players doubted they deserved to be in the league, albeit sub-consciously. They were getting results against the bottom half teams but only had one point from a top nine team. Beating Chelsea and the manner in which they achieved the result has given every single player a new belief. They DO belong in this league. TP has kept that belief fire roaring and we saw three goals away from home - 50% of the away goals we had scored all season up to yesterday. The rest of this campaign will be very interesting as we see how far up the table we can get.

We may not be mathematically safe just yet but we can start to play without the fear factor now, kick the shackles off and go for it a bit more, well, like we did yesterday.

Thanks TP. What a great time to be a Palace fan. Even if the worst happens and we don't stay up, we can hold our heads up high and say we fought as hard as we could. I'm sure that Villa aren't looking forward to our South London hospitality. And after beating Chelsea, Everton don't seem so frightening. Hammers, City, Liverpool, Fulham... anything is possible. Just to see that lot on the pitch, fighting for the shirt, and knowing they won't give up until the final whistle. It's the old cliche that we never have 2 good halves to a season. Well this season it looks like it is all coming together at the end. COYP.
