Already said 1-0 Cardiff but I can't call this one. Win and we go 8 points clear!!! This will be massive for us but if it's typical Palace we won't because it will go down to the Fulham game.

Jerome, Puncheon, Bolasie, Ledley, and Chamakh! feeding FFS against their defence. Humm. Our back line in front of Jules! Humm. They need to win this, we need a draw. I think they are going to come at us with all guns blazing and get totally frustrated by our discipline and determination. It will be won in midfield. If we play like we did against Chelsea and Spurs... heaven help them, if not I'll settle for a draw. Those goals that have been alluding us could come pouring in and I can see our first 5-0 win of the season, to put the fear of god into Villa for next week. COYP.

Here's a prediction from their forum. This is what we're dealing with today...
Post by Crimson Canton » Fri Apr 04, 2014 5:56 pm I have worked out that after we beat Palace tomorrow, we will then only need the sunderland win. a few draws will help to. I bet you are asking me how I know this? Here are the points: Cardiff 4-2 Palace = 3 points Sunderland 2-3 Cardiff = 6 pointer as direct apponent Total points = 3 + 6 pointer = 9 points (in theory) 26 + 9 = 35 points total. (maybe 1 or 2 draws from other 4 fixtures to put us safe on 37 points)
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

If we can contain them early on I think their confidence will sap. The longer it goes on the softer they will be on the break. I would go for Sunderland tactics 1st half and Chelsea in 2nd.

Palace to win 1-0. Welcome back Wilf Edited by exiled eagle (04 Apr 2014 11.41am) Brilliant ! Made me laugh out loud. I also enjoyed the word 'crossbarfest' from Canterbury - excellent work. If we can keep our heads, then as someone else said, this game is absolutely made for our style of play. Sit back, force their hand, see what they've got. Their attack is pretty good but so is our defence and I think its better to be honest. Delaney with a colossal reducer on Wilf first 5, their attacks constantly come to nothing, crowd get on their backs - we start hitting on the counter, crowd get more restless. We nick a goal, they go gung-ho we nick another then they get a man sent off (probably Bellamy the tosser) as they lose it upon realisation they are getting relegated. We get another one. 3-0 Palace. Cardiff down, Palace just need a couple of points from 6 games, and we duly get 3 at home to Villa next week. And that ladies and gentlemen, was all she wrote.
You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue |

Poor performance and a 2-0 loss with not one shot on target. Well after Chelsea and as we are Palace what else can we expect?

1-1. Trust our defence. Conceded two in last four, and one of those was in added added time at Newcastle, thanks to a crap ref.
The right place at the right time |
