mourinho has a track record of being a bully and a nasty piece of work. so, i doubt that he was acting in good faith.

Think you mean gamesmanship but I agree with you mate. It's nothing major at all it's part of the home advantage!

Looks to me like a mountain is being made out of a molehill. No harm, no foul, no blood, no ambulance. Mourinho even praised the ref (who missed an obvious first half penalty) while getting another dig in on Chris Foy. He praised us and said we were deserved winners on the day while having some rather harsh words for his own players. He even seemed to enjoy the "Sit down, Mourinho" song (setting it to "La donna e mobile" [All Women Are Fickle] from Rigoletto was classy). So, let's enjoy a hard earned and highly enjoyable win.

In all honesty, I thought Jose dealt with it pretty well. He made his point and with the exception of that initial burst, never put that ball boy in a position of any concern. I bet a lot of 10 year old ball boys would like a 1 on 1 chat with Mourinho mid-game. I've been really impressed with Jose this season. He's shown a lot of class, and it doesn't surprise me that he and Pulis get on so well given their similar temperaments. Play hard, but play fair. The likes of Pardew could learn a lot.

I've Had a look to see if it's already been covered but couldn't find it. As I see it Puncheon possibly said along the lines of "wait until they ask for it then throw it back". If you look, and maybe I've got this wrong but from what I saw no Chelsea player was even looking for the ball they was walking away. Morinho already started running before the left back and they seemed to go almost at the same time. This was when they realised that the ball boy say down with the ball resting on top of the advertising board. Not sure what the ball boy did wrong as there was no one immediately looking for it.

Watched it on the highlights, and he seemed to be very good natured about it, and friendly (and probably right, given the Chelsea player who went across to get it from the ball boy was somewhat more worked up about it).
