Chelsea beat teams when the play on the counter. We don't attack to often and they will have the lionshare which they do not like.

The key feature of Chelsea's game v Arsenal recently (6-0) was their effective midfield pressure.Chelsea 'pressed' in higher positions, causing Arsenal’s centre-backs and holding midfielder problems, as well as the more advanced players. Time and time again, Chelsea won possession in central areas and immediately turned this into a quick counter-attack, and often a promising goalscoring opportunity.

What is the best way to get a result?. Imo its do a West Ham defend for our lives and hope to get a goal on the break. 4 5 1.

Sadly whatever formation we use and tactics we deploy we will get beaten.
I really cannot see us avoiding relegation, indeed whatever our fate I believe Pulis will not be in charge next campaign.

Hello Willo.

I hope Saturday has taught you something about football, maybe even life. Everything is achievable, everything can be done. Sometimes its extremely unlikely, but in football if everyone believes, if the fans unite behind the team then unlikely things can happen. Fortune does indeed favour the brave.

I hope your consistent drone of miserable, negative, no good for anybody comments can now be a little more optimistic, if for no other reason than you are very clearly wrong about this Palace team, and have failed to properly grasp what Pulis is trying to do and how hes going about it.

We may still go down, but personally I think our very best chance is with us all united behind the team. I literally do not see the point to be otherwise as I have stated elsewhere.

Why not leave the comments for the off-season, after all even if we stay up, next year will be another very hard season.

Cheers

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely
Mile Jedinak
