Jonny would make no difference as he would of been deployed as a holding midfielder in our ultra defensive set up. Really don't see him coming back for long until he is sold to a Championship team next season. On another note, it's sad to see so many dissing him on this thread. Some maybe doing it to get back at maxi, but it's not nice to see.
Sorry, but I can't write I don't enjoy football the way TP preaches in any other language than English. I'm sorry it upsets you, but I don't like watching football the way Tony Pulis sets his teams out to play it. I have never ever wanted my team to be Stoke.

Where would you play JW in this side Maxi? I don't disagree that it's a shame to see him loaned out, just not sure where you see him in this current side increasing our chances of goals. At attacking mid/behind the striker, he isn't going to be tenacious enough for this side. There's too much of a gap between Jedinak and KG/Ledley. I could see Jonny getting isolated too much and not providing for the striker. For me, the best player we have for that position is Chamakh. Not his 'natural' position maybe, but he impresses me regularly with hold up play and ability to find a decent pass in a very pressurised part of the field.

What a stupid post. I don't see why people rate him so highly. Yes he is a talented young player but he is very raw and is yet to prove himself in a big game or over a number of games. Looking back at last season, when he was fit, Jonny never really stood out that much. I can probably only count two or three games where he had a really good game. It does seem that any fan hates it when a young player from the academy doesn't get played, as if the manager is damaging our academy. They way we are playing under Pulis means Williams would not have seen a lot of the ball and he isn't the type of player to sit deep and defend so him going on loan doesn't mean that's why we may go down
Tell me Footballing genius... how many goals has he scored for Palace?

Yeah its not the best entertainment, but then we weren't exactly too exciting under Holloway either, that being beaten every week wasn't great, and we were looking relegated eight games into the season. At least, if we go down now, we won't have the shame of a lowest point score ever which was looking to be the case under Ollie.

Problem was, Johnny Williams wasn't making a huge difference back when he was playing for us, and he'd taken a few knocks. Better he gets first team action and confidence, than 20 mins a week if were losing.
