......But you're certainly not one of the best spellers in the world!

OP is of course right. Murray was fantatic when we had two wingers banging the balls in. Now we are playing deep, and we really need a striker who can outpace whatever defender he's up against. Murray isn't the answer, Jerome is a better choice any day.

Jerome better than Murray??? He is one of the main reasons we're so goal shy. Play our 30-man any day and hopefully Chamach will never repeat his mediocre performance on Saturday. He stumbled and fell, rarely laid off the ball to a teammate and then his charging into Evra....

I am not on here to slaughter last season's top scorer, in fact it is great to see him back, but I think we are a better team without him in the starting XI

We are on a tremendous run at the moment without Glenn Murray and I don't think a relegation scrap after such a long-term injury is the ideal situation for him.

His inclusion on Saturday meant Yannick Bolassie was stuck on the bench, which weakens the side, and I believe we are better with Chamakh up top with Ince behind.

Remember Murray wasn't exactly banging them in during last season's run-in and his one and only goal in his last dozen appearances was from the penalty spot.

He should be battling it out with the unfairly maligned Cameron Jerome as cover for Chamakh and we will see where he is at the start of next season.

This one is a write-off for him.

Incredible post. Murray would walk into every team in the Championship cos he's a natural goalscorer. You don't score 31 goals in a season without being a top, top striker. We need goals. He plays. He's just been out for 9 months and you expect him to start delivering already? He got another hour under his belt and had one of our shots on goal. His mere presence is enough to raise the mood in this instance. I guarantee he will score goals before the season is over! A fully-firing Murray will be in any starting eleven. He's a lethal finisher and the ONLY player we have with natural poacher's instinct. We need him now and hopefully by March he'll be fully match fit.

for me the issue was he and Chamkah looked like they had never played together before. (which they haven't).

I think we need to give him a few matches to see if the partership can improve and if not, likely a change needs to be made.

I also think not have Bolasie on the wings played a key role as well. We need to be able to get Bolasie, Ince and Ledley on the field together.

Plus Chamakh and Murray. These 5 definitely offer the best goal threat, with Jerome and Gayle as impact subs?

F-ck me...... Now its pick on Murray time and he's only been back 5 minutes.
Some people on here are absolutely cretinous

Is there some way we could cypher out cretinous waffle bol-ox before it gets posted on the HOL.
Like a HOL youth side. To work up the social media boards to get to the 1st team....
"sorry mate you just aint cutting it here, going to have to let you go back to Brighton NSC"

Christ, did you not read this thread properly? When I saw the 'headline' it put me in the same frame of mind as you. But, for god's sake read futher on. It does make some kind of sense. As someone has posted. can fully understand what is meant, but do not go with it entirely. To take your position of the headless chicken, well that truely is cretinous.

In all fairness I didn't no. I got as far as dropping Murray..... was it obvious then

Sorry to have implied you were cretinous 7@burnly.

Thats quite alright Adrian as I can be from time to time.

It's only been a few games for Murray so he's not going to be amazing and scoring 30 goals.

Plus he hasn't played in the PL before, but we will see the Murray of old.

Also geezerspalace don't be slagging off Ince just yet as his first game for us was amazing and give him time.

I don't know what it is about people, but they expect players to be amazing all the time and if they don't lets bitch and moan with their fanny packs.

He needs time to get his legs back under him, and get an eye for goal. It's simply unfortunate timing that he's back just when we need everyone to firing on all cylinders, for that reason I agree with OP, perhaps give him more attention in training, then give him 20-30 minutes if we're in control. He's the best finisher on the team and probably the best natural goalscorer, I just don't think we can afford to give him too much time to get back to his best as every point is vital right now.

Still, if Pulis wants to give him the start then I won't complain, there's much worse strikers in the EPL.

Whatever I said, whatever I did, I didn't mean it, I just want Chamack for good.

This has to be a wind up doesn't it? He played well Saturday and we've only had Ince for two games. Surely too early to tell what will work best.
