I can't help but think that Willo is a reincarnation of the departed and much lamented Gfpurundjl yes (longer standing members of the HOL will remember). Top efforts, whoever you are, Willo.

, but I dont agree with constant negativity. Finchley In our position it is perhaps understandable that there is negativity regards certain results and our chances of staying up. Good on you sir ! Dont worry we do stay up, we secure our status with a surprise win over Liverpool at Selhurst. But dont tell anyone, I dont want to spoil the surprise.
You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue |

For your first point Adrian, I dont agree. I think if you look back at the games under Pulis we do try and play from the back and the ball is rolled out wherever possible. Man Utd were good at closing this down so was rarer on Saturday. Also, we have both Chamakh and Murray who are very good in the air so it would be foolish not to use that - especially considering a lot of the time they bring the ball down and dont just try and win a header. Secondly, yes it does. If you state that something unwanted will happen you are being negative. It may be your hand on heart belief and fair enough, you may state it in a positive way, but it is still a negative opinion. And my personal view is that the sort of unity and support that was shown on Saturday does not exist when people have no more to say other than 'we're all doomed' as it were. Hence suggesting its better to be positive and if your view is negative then why announce it ? To be proved right if we go down ? To just be different ? To be opposite ? Sure anyone can write whatever they like but I dont see the point of being negative. I genuinely believe it increases our chances of staying up is everyone believes we can. Belief is a very powerful thing and if I was a Palace player and saw and heard what we do as fans then I'd be busting a gut for every second im on the pitch and frankly the team talks write themselves.

I can assure everyone that I am certainly NOT a reincarnation of anyone on HOL.

As we head into the run-in of some crucial games, I'd really really appreciate if, on the HOL, you could live by the maxim 'if you haven't got anything positive to say, don't say anything'. I'd be very grateful if you could please do this. Many thanks Finchley Eagle

Think this thread is a little out of order, We are all entitled to our opinion and Willo is not rude or disrespectful to anyone. Digging out posters with threads is over the top. If you feel that strongly why not just send him a PM? And if you answer that my friend then maybe you're close to understanding the point. Which I dont think you quite get ? I think if you're on here you can stand up for yourself - I know Willo certainly can ! (although I understand he prefers to sit down) Your right Finchley, I don't quite get what your saying. To me your post reads, Please don't post anything negative Willo. If we all posted positive stuff all the time this place would be very dull. Willo has taken a lot of stick on here, I have dug him out a few times myself, but he has stuck by his guns no matter and I respect him for that. Starting a thread about him is wrong.
