I would send Williams and Gayle out on loan to top half championship teams.

This will increase their confidence and get them some game time.

They can then return to us for the vital survival run-in.

He can't be. The window for PL clubs is proper closed. It re-opens for loans into the football league only next week.

If we were established in the Prem I could see a benefit to loaning Williams, but as he's not even going to take up a valuable squad place surely we're better to keep him as an option? Look at what's happened to the Arsenal midfield. A bulk of midfielders can get injured at any point.

Bannan seems a shame but I don't think anyone's too surprised.

Surely we could recall Joniesta if we had an injury crisis? Might be good for him to get some game time?

As ever it depends on what is written into the loan contract. Let's hope its not a Marrow like one.

Taking the bungy jump since 1964. Never to see John Jackson in a shirt again

Sorry to see Lee Hills go, did we ever see Alex Marrow? We did January 2013

Paddy may not be the best of our 4 CBs but it would be pretty wreckless to try to complete the rest of the season with only 3 of them.

Delaney, Gabbidon, Mariappa, Dann and Paddy make five

True but Mariappa is our only cover for RB. Fact remains we need every CB available.

Can set up a loan with a 24 hr recall clause easily enough. I said at the beginning of the season that fro JW point of view promotion was always going to stall his developement. In the Championship where squadsvarevsmall and money's tight he was always going to be a starter this year. In the Premiership though we need experience, especially in that position. He's not going to play very much this season for us let alone start. The best thing for Williams right now is to be playing like Wilf and Ince did to get their education and minutes on the pitch up.
I think he recently signed a long term contract so it's not as if loaning him out would send any negative messages to him. I'd loan him to a well run stable club in the Championship for a couple of months with a clear messagevthatbhe is in our long term plans therefore not for sale

If Jonny can't, for whatever reason, get a run of games with our first team then I think it's best that he gets some game time on loan. I will be really annoyed if he impresses whilst on loan and he doesn't get a chance with our first team next season.

Just to add I think he is a really big talent and has shown he can more than hold his own against international standard players.

Williams has never really impressed me. We can't afford to have players in the team who aren't making a meaningful contribution. He is better off going on loan and we have better players available.

JW needs 10 games in a row, playing 90 minutes. He won't get that here so he should go on loan.

At present he doesn't offer anything that we don't already have.

he is the most talented player we have. It would be a monumental disaster for us to not utilise his talent fully.

Are Blackburn that desperate to play in League One?

Idiot, show some respect for a loyal Palace player coming back from a serious injury.

He has been paid wages for the last 2 years. Loyalty shows both ways. If a better offer came in he would be off no doubt so all the loyalty stuff is bollocks and to be fair for the standard of player that McCarthy is Cucking is 100% correct.
