I too am stoked he chose us, but let the lad kick a ball in the top flight first. Who knows, it may work, it may not. He obviously looks class, now let's wait and see. Best of luck mate. Edited by AussiePalace (02 Feb 2014 6.37am)

The funny thing is that papa Ince a couple of years ago spoke to our chairman Simon, asking if we were interested to have a look at his football-playing son. No thanks! was the answer. But finally Tom has joined us... I think it was Mr Greedman who said "never heard of him" when asked by SP, thus nothing happened.

It's a deal that suits both parties. From the club's point of view - if we stay up we may be able to convince him to sign. If not be in a position to attract similar/ better quality in the summer. If we go down we're not lumbered with a despondent player who thinks he's better than us/ championship football (not to mention his wages)

I'm happy he's here but..... It's hard to get too attached to Ince.....He's using the club as an advertising opportunity before a huge money move when his contract runs out. It works out for both of us......But I find it hard to care much for loan players. If he scores goals and keeps us up though.....I may feel differently. What afantastic coup for Palace which says such alot about the teams he declined. And if Ince is using us as a stepping stone, so what? But lets hope Palace stay up and he decides to sign for good (and as an England player). Ironic that a team who produces young England players to sell on is importing one.

Great signing... But technically we're paying Blackpool £71428 a week, plus his wages... Wow A couple of years ago we would have struggled to pay Blackpool £7.14...f*** me we have come a long way very very quickly

Quote Kermit8 at 01 Feb 2014 10.57am We offer him a 75k a week deal over three years seeing as how we won't have to pay a fee. Total £10mill. We sell him for £20mill in 2016. Job done.
has he ever played in premiership or scored any goals probably be a super striker like Jerome

has he ever played in premiership or scored any goals probably be a super striker like Jerome Er, except we would have to pay a fee: he's under 24 meaning substantial compensation would be needed for Blackpool. Even though he didn't come through their youth setup, it would still be a considerable fee.

Interesting Paul Ince saying on the transfer centre that he does'nt think Tom Ince will be ready for Liverpool or one off the top clubs for two or three years. maybe just maybe he'll stay with us should we stay up.

Why would anyone complain?? This is the boy who scored more goals and got more assists than zaha last year in a team that playing a lot worse than us plus young player of the year, if we had wilf back you'd be creaming yourselves over it!! We had no chance getting wilf back so we hear so we basically got the next best thing. If we had the chance to sign ince for 6 months and the board said no it's too much I bet the majority would've complained that they need stump up more cash!! Ince is an improvement to our squad as is Ledley, so for f*** sake stop moaning and see how things pan out!!
