If the bloke is part of the HF(he was dressed in black and looked as if he came from Block B)then he really has done the HF no favours.

The HF may well be complaing about their treatment by the OB by looking at that banner that was out last night, that bloke is justifying why the OB gives them grief.

2 steps forward...1 step back

So what if he was wearing black? If he was wearing a turban would you categorise all sikhs and hindus as football hooligans?

1 more Nigel...having a pop at the HF.

All in black? Have you looked around you? It's winter, everyone in the ground was wearing a black or dark coloured coat! Black isn't exclusive to the HF!

I actually thought he came from C block, but I could be wrong.

Naming and shaming? How sad. I've got better things to do thank you. Leave it to the club to deal with. He looked like a child, you'd think a lot of people here have never done a silly thing when young and naive.

Very true, you are correct, everyone was wearing black so most probably nothing to do with the HF.
He didnt come from Block B,I think your right he could have come from C block so probably nothing to do with the HF.

Wouldn't want this to turn into a HF thread, the banner and the OB giving grief and a bloke who has nothing to do with the HF

So my mistake... 2 steps forward onwards and upwards

Great tackle by the Steward !

But the lad was a bit of a knob to run on the pitch.

well, lets see what happens, the police have the camera footage and will know where he came from, where he went and where he is at the next game, if he's dumb enough to re-appear.

whether he is or isnt part of the front row gang, he wont have done them any favours, much like their banner.

Why would croydon council have anything to do with 6 stabbings in ten days anyway?

Personally, i think they only did it to get a high off the paint fumes, 10/10 on that one boys!!!

Its never right for a supporter to run on to the pitch in this way, but you have to look at how the end of the game was building up, passions were running high on and of the pitch, was any damage really done at the end of the day. the HF were on top form last night and they really get the crowd going. Me and boy are season ticket holders near the front in Block X in the Arthur and it was buzzing there last night, we have to keep this sort of atmosphere going for rest of the season and make it a nightmare for opposing teams coming down to SE25. Just keep off the pitch lads lol. Theres no ground like Selhurst under floodlights!!! ...

Great bit of footage here showing the lad being hauled off the pitch, but more importantly the angry goalie ranting at the ref then throwing his gloves on the ground like a child having a tantrum...

Can't see much of the guy running on the pitch but it was close to me and I can say for sure he was at the front of block C not that it matters much.

I have prepared one of my own time capsules. I have placed some rather large samples of dynamite, gunpowder and nitroglycerin. My time capsule is set to go off in the year 3000. It will show them what we are really like.

Doesn't apply or make sense as he hasnt said or even implied that the HF in general are 'football hooligans'. All he's said is that if the bloke is one of their 'tribe' then they're doing themselves no favours.

I think what hes saying, and to use your analogy, is...if a turban-wearing bloke from a a small turban-wearing section of the crowd ran onto the pitch and the small turban-wearing section snuck him back into their section, then the turban-wearing section would be doing themselves no favours especially if there was a sub-plot going on where the turban-wearers felt they were being unfairly picked on in a totally unrelated matter. No implications as to all turban-wearers being hooligans. Just a bit silly of the turban-wearers.

Or am just having a Nigelistic pop at the turban-wearers?

It it had been a Hull fan running on the pitch to attack Speroni, after he had been sent off, and the ref had been giving us all the decision all game, what would everyone be saying then?
