This post has been merged from a topic called 'Michu (Paper talk)' by Moose When he played against us this year he was a different class. Offers hight for headers, that Spanish build up play and an eye for goal which he showed by getting a goal. He didn't have the greatest year last time but was drastically over shadowed by Bony. If we can get him for around the £5m then it could be a great bit of business. Think over clubs will be in for him though and as TP says we will be the last on the list of clubs he wants to join.

He had one good season at Swansea, injured and looked ordinary when he did play last season, not sure why everyone's wetting themselves over this.
I know I'm being a grumpy old sod, but I've just seen too many strikers signed over the years on the back of one good season and they end up s***. Just off the top of my head, Akinbiyi, Kuqi, Gareth Taylor, Jon Macken. Edited by Clint Hill (27 Jun 2014 10.26pm)

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Michu (Paper talk)' by Moose Out of all the strikers we've been linked with , michu is the best , he scores , his hold up play is good , and he gets assists aswell so if we could get him at a decent price it would be a bargain

Michu does not play the same role as Chamakh - he's not a number 10, he's a target man - a goal scoring jerome. powerful and skillful Michu can play in that 'Deeper' role, behind the striker, as he is creative and can setup chances for others. He is left-footed but has scored with both feet and his head.Good with his head and a good finisher.

He didn't have the greatest year last time In his first season at Swansea he scored 22 goals but last year he had ankle problems in the second half of the season. He lost some of his zest amidst rumours of discontent and only scored 6 goals.
