How about a scenario that sees Pulis leaving at the end of the season and Malky Mackay coming in as manager ? I can't see that happening as Malky Mackay has had enough problems with one interfering chairman so probably will want to find a club where the chairman is happier with a lower profile

at worst all i can get from various media comments is that he doesnt want to mortgage the future of the club with extravagant signings. after all its his (and the other 3 owners) money he is spending! lets just say for arguments sake that pulis wanted to sign peter crouch, and parish wanted to sign tom ince. and lets just say that both combined financial packages of transfer fee & wages were the same. i would back parish 100% of the time for trying to sign a player who we could always get a return, and quite possibly a profit on in 3/4 season time. i completely understand that pulis wants tried & tested PL players added to the squad 2 weeks ago...but i dont blame parish one iota for digging his heels in doing what he thinks is right for the club in the long term.

You didn't raise any. As I said, you are only interested in promoting your conspiracy theories and you still didn't spell Parish's name correctly, you're either ignorant or you're trying to goad someone, it isn't me btw. Now that is a stupid thing to say. I don't mind being disliked or disagreed with but to say that what I wrote earlier does not contain any valid points is absolutely idiotic. I have a lot of time for many of my adversaries, but I have no respect for you if you cannot even engage in a reasoned debate.

A third of that diatribe was about you, so I won't massage your ego for you. Because I won't engage in your conspiracy theories, I'm an idiot, have you ever thought that not everyone wants to spend their entre day 'engaging in reasoned debate'? It isn't reasoned anyway, as you've just proved, because if someone doesn't play the game the way you like it to be played, they are labelled as an idiot, I may be an idiot but at least I'm not a boring idiot. I really do think that most of these so called reporters make stories up just to fill spaces in their papers. They put two and two together and come up with 12 in some cases it's just sensationalism. If this report was true why is the Sunday mirror the only paper to print this article. If this was a story that had any creditability wouldn't other reporters be spreading this news.

The Mirror is just putting 2+2 together and making 5. Because we haven't been signing anyone and because of this whole Parish Holiday thing. They are trying to put it altogether as in Pulis doesn't get on with Moody or Parish. Moody doesn't handle Transfers. Pulis decides with players he would like if available, and Moody does his research and enquiries. There is no secret that Moody and Pulis have been attended Championship games together. If there was a rift I doubt that would happen.

By the way, how can anyone have an opinion about anything that isn't shaped by personal experience? Of course, when I weigh up what is happening at Palace (which, in the end, is just a business that is run by human beings like any other business), I turn to my own experience to interpret things. I mean what the hell else are you supposed to do? I refer to my experience in my posts occasionally not because I want to talk about myself, but because I want to explain to the reader what my experience is, and why it leads me to the conclusions it does. I think that is relevant. I'm middle-aged, moderately successful, have followed Palace for almost 40 years, and I think there is some substance (or I hope there is) to what I write. If you find me dull or self-obsessed, then so be it, but I am using the examples I use out of respect for the reader...so that agree or disagree they can see that I have reached my conclusions based on something real; I'm not just letting off steam. I would say there is something about me that clearly irritates you just, ironically, as there is something about Parrish that clearly irritates me. But you are being quite unreasonable in your criticism above and far less honest than I am. Even I have given Parrish credit where it is due.

You've spelt Parish's name wrong again, please come clean, is that mean to wind me up? On another thread I've just read, you say "succinct is best", I wish you would adhere to that as I find most of your posts long winded and boring but Willo loves ya, so all is cool Edited by Plane (19 Jan 2014 12.45pm)

Pulis' job is to keep us in the Premier League and Parish's is to keep us within our budget restrictions. The transfer window tests both of these and I'd be surprised if there weren't a bit of tension. That is ok as long as a working relationship is maintained and so far I have not read or heard anything to suggest that has broken down but the next 2 weeks are big if we want to stay in the Premier league.
