Holloway Bingo

"I'm bursting with pride"

"I walked out on a contract at Plymouth and I'll never do that again"

"The players need a day off"

"Some fans have been criticising my bizarre team selections and I won't have it"

"I love it at (insert team name), I have a job to do and NOBODY will stop me from doing it"

One point for each one......three points if he uses it in the first week.

Yup, if there's one club who knows what it's like for a manager to walk out on you saying stuff like that, it's us.

I'm still shellshocked at Freedman leaving, and he meant more to our club than Holloway will ever mean to any club.

If punk ever happened I'd be preaching the law, instead of listenin to Lydon lecture BBC4

If there’s any finger-pointing to be done, perhaps it should be directed at Bolton. They knocked the domino over, and not for the first time. It’s Owen Coyle and Burnley all over again.

It’s always a difficult thing for all of us as fans to deal with, but it happens in football, in business and in life. This time next week there will probably be a disgruntled fan from another club putting a similar post on a Blackpool fan site about someone else, but we all learn to move on. It just helps us appreciate the good times all the more.

Not sure if you're a member of 'Blackpool Player', and if you are whether you can access 'Palace Player', but if you are (and can, respectively), you should watch the interview with Holloway. Might make you feel a bit less bitter.

We all understand how you feel after we experienced the same last week, so hopefully in a week or so you'll make an appointment that you and your fans are happy with.

Cheers komakino

I was just having a laugh.

Holloway was a hero whilst he was at Bloomers but the writing was on the proverbial wall a few weeks ago.

Our Chairman is a man who made himself bankrupt for a month so his Wife and the mother of his children got a pittance. His Dad (a current Director and former Chairman) is a convicted rapist.

They have siphoned all the Premiership money we earned into several companies owned by them.

They bought a piece of land adjoining the ground for £500,000 and then sold it back to the club for £6,400,000 less than two years later.

That's all true and is in the public domain so your Mods don't need to press any panic buttons.

We've had similarly rapacious chairmen in our time.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I know how you are feeling as you know we went through it with dougie.I can only sympathise with you and wish you best of luck for the season as I thinl taking the p1ss out of the situation as some people may do is hypocritical as we went through the same thing. I hope you don't feel to bad about palace and I really hope you can find someone who can replace your legend like we replaced our legend paul ince?? Good luck to blackpool

Well said some on here have short memories, same boat different crew, best of luck Blackpool

and now Fred Davis will try for the pink, for those watching in black n white its just behind the green..........

Their owners actually make Noades and Bloye seem saintly!

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

On the plus side about their Chairman... some older Hol posters might remember the horse O I Oyston that kept winning loads of races and made us all a tidy profit!

If you take the content of the article as fact, then you can very much understand why Holloway may have felt he'd taken the club as far as he could.

A couple came on here critisizing IH for how he left Blackpool but yet only 2 months later Michael Appleton wants out to go to Blackburn ! Now bearing in mind Blackburn at the moment are run by bad bad owners with their spokesperson Shebby whatever his name is just enjoying all the media attention you would be hard pushed to find anyone with any real football credibility joining that circus !

So what is really going on at Blackpool and how much of a cowboy is Karl Oyston ?

Have just been talking to a Blackburn supporter at work about this & he says this reflects badly on Appleton, Oyston & Blackburn.

Appleton for wanting out after a very short period of time, Oyston for coming across as someone people are not happy working with & Blackburn for approaching a newly installed manager without any regard for contractual issues.

F*ck modern day football.
