Ian Wright v Wimbledon at Plough Lane, when he takes it down from the goal kick, turns and bangs it in from the halfway line. Unsurpassed class.

Either Andrejs Rubin's long range goal vs. Leicester in the League cup in 2000, or his goal against Liverpool in the cup in 2001. I'd go for the second on the basis of its importance.

Jobi in the last minute was especially sweet. We went nuts on their make-shift stand which felt like it was going to collapse, and getting the Park'n'Ride bus back to the motor surrounded by sobbing gulls was unforgettable Doesn't mean I'm not gonna give Jobi stick whenever he returns playing for another team (always clap at the beginning, mind).

Armstrong in the top corner was a classic, and many of the others already mentioned including Wrighty, Brighty ;Rubins; Gordon; Doug; Moses; Ambrose etc...

...but aren't we forgetting Wayne Andrew's ONLY goal during his 33 appearances?

Not to mention 3 of the places go to one player. Butterfield !!!

Has to be one of two from Wrighty...the one against Wimbledon away,i remember being on the away terrace and only being able to see the top half of the net.
But the best was his goal at home to the weed..think he took it on the volley over his shoulder from the corner of the box at the sainsburys end????

Ive tried them all....but Palace are my drug of choice.
Níl a fhios agam cén fáth, ach is breá liom an club seo

Freedman scored a beauty against Sunderland in our last promotion season. Received a throw on the chest and thurned and and volleyed in from near the touchline right into the top corner from an impossible angle.

That angle wasn't impossible at all.
He did one from an impossible angle but it was many years ago, it's on his goals DVD.

Don Rogers v Man U scoring our 5th in the famous 5-0 win in the 1972/3 season when he did a 'Pele' & pushed the ball one way past Stepney & ran round the other side of him.

.. only Pele didn't score!

You may also recall Don's goal against Stoke at home in early '73 ( also on the 100 yr DVD I seem to recall)

Don Rogers v Man U scoring our 5th in the famous 5-0 win in the 1972/3 season when he did a 'Pele' & pushed the ball one way past Stepney & ran round the other side of him. It's on the Centenary DVD & there is a brilliant commentary by the late Brian Moore, "it's going to be 5, it has to 5, it is 5"! ....... Sadly we went down that season!!!!

They attempted to make it a hollow victory for us by sacking manager Frank O'Farrell on the Monday after the game.

........................Then along came Johnny Byrne! and the rest, as they say, is history.....................
