Off topic: Pellegrino has been appointed at Southampton. On topic: for those that might assume what FdB achieved at Ajax was a walk in the park. Ajax hadn't won the title for six years before FdB took over and they haven't won it since. Whilst in charge he won it four times im five years.

It wouldn't have been the same problem (apart from timescale) if nothing had been leaked, but as it has been, and we know that there is this major point to be sorted, it does raise the question as to why it hasn't already been resolved. What's the major point to be sorted? I thought his brother said it was only minor points being ironed out.

I dont see how southampton appointing a new manager would interfer with us doing the same. Why should it effect us. If FDB is going to be our managwr all well and good but please just tell us.

Rejoice, Rejoice, Rejoice - could have been Mr Dyche!!! It's taken a while but SP has his man. Proven winner with great contacts. Feeling very optimistic - even got our red and blue stripes back! Mr Dyche was never even considered.

We've all heard de Boers brother and he clearly said they was tieing up loose ends and small details. With FdB very much looking forward to starting at Palace. Dave heard something completely different and negative to the rest of us. Surprise suprise. De Boers brother never said the support staff was an issue, you really do like to twist everything you can to fit your negative agenda. Maybe you should go feel some tits to cheer up

Just giving his honest opinions. He talked about the lack of options in respect of British managers - Look at the clubs who have been looking for managers in pre-season IE : Watford,Hull,Leeds,Southampton,Norwich - they have all appointed managers from abroad.

I still cant help feeling that Dyche has been badly undevalued, precisely becsuse he's 'just' a british manager
