I sincerely hope not! It would send a very divisive message to the rest of the squad who have grafted through pre season that any player (not specifically Wilf) can waltz into the first team without doing the hard yards required by others. I’m sure Roy wouldn’t be that stupid! Is the correct answer.

Dear me, aka ffs.. Wilf has grafted this summer for his country. He should play without a doubt. Including a transfer request.

Just when we all think you can't top your last post of absolute bollocks you surpass yourself. You are the most clueless poster on this site by a long, long chalk: against considerable competition. Well done. Edited by ChrisGC (09 Aug 2019 9.01pm)

For goodness sake, do you know what the word "integrity" means? According to one definition, it means "having strong moral principles". Does that apply to someone who signs a lucrative long-term contract and sees nothing wrong in trying to renege on it just a year later? Well said. Who are these idiots saying different? Wilf's retarded brother I imagine

If he plays at all, I think it'll be 30 mins off the bench rather than a start. If Roy wasn’t manager I’d guess that Wilf would be on the bench just to show he’s going to play. The plan wouldn’t be to come on, because he isn’t physically or mentally ready, but it’s the first show of cooperation if you like. But Roy is Roy and even though he often has no intention of playing some of the subs, he would if he had to. I don’t think he’d play Wilf tomorrow if he had to tomorrow. There’s been too much stalling and lounging about in Dubai or wherever he’s been tapping his fingers on tables and other nonsense on instagram. I expect he’ll first make a showing in an away game and then the pressure and microscope isn’t there at home. We write off the first few games anyway and we’knew ages ago tomorrow was due to be a fvcking joke due to Parish’s preferred trading methods. Ever since the fixtures came out, or years ago actually, whoever we’re due to play.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle There really are some stupid posters on this site. Wilf ha fed in a transfer request because he wanted to leave, he didn’t get what he wanted he is still here and he is still our best player. I have no problem with how he has behaved so far as long as he turns up trains hard and continues to give everything on the pitch as he has done. We will never know the intricacies of this window and how many bids did come in and at what price. He is still our best player and deserves respect and support whenever he plays. I don’t think his head will be right for 90 minutes but I’d bring him on in the second half if we need to.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Or Wilf is a bit p1ssed that if what happened is that Everton didn’t come in and bid higher after he put his transfer request in which is possibly what his team of tw@ts understood would happen and he’s got that burning desire to take it to them if he’s on the bench and comes on. (He doesn’t like the thought that he himself might’ve been played)

That’s how it is for me, and I reckon the angle Roy spoke to him about how crucial the next 4-9 months are for us all. I’m quite realistic and down to Earth about these footballers and what I think they’re capable of or I expect from them apart from exceptions like Julian Speroni or the spine of the promotion team. It’s a business now of commodities and limited loyalty.
