It just proves how our perceptions are so very different these days and how this has resulted in such huge political divisions that we can come to totally opposing conclusions. Here are mine:-

Trump, and those who continue to believe he is a benefit to the USA and the world, are not just losers. They are deluded.

The Mueller report is very far from lost. It has been temporarily stymied by the DoJ. The truth will always triumph. It just needs time.

Brexit is a mistake. As a result we are ALL losers. Not just those who voted against it.

Johnson is PM solely because of the weakness of the opposition. They were the one's who lost the election, Johnson didn't win it. People like me told them that well before the start of the campaign. Given sufficient time the cold hard truth will dawn on people just how bad our current political situation really is.

Views on the crimes committed by the grooming gangs, and how they should be handled, has been patiently explained several times and need not be repeated. That this is once again misrepresented only raises questions about what the motivation in doing so really is.

Given the attitudes currently being debated in these threads, the references to internet memes, the "white" race, it's problems and suggested solutions, etc etc, leads me once again to question how people are forming these odious opinions. Something that the OP also asked and for which I suggested answers.

I have little doubt where that odour is coming from and not the slightest worry it might be from my direction.

so you are someone important then? Someone special? I think not, youre just 'special'....a TROLL !

"Important"? "Special"? No, not in anyway at all.

I am just an active guy with a passion for the truth and a determination to call out bs whenever and wherever it can be found.

But your opinion of what is bs is just that, yours.
Other opinions are available.

When someone repeatedly misrepresents your views, and then denies he is misrepresenting them, it has to call into question what the motivation for doing so really is.

No-one knows my views better than I do. That has to be true of everyone.

Defending and supporting our police is something I believe we all have a civic duty to do. None of us, so far as I know, are policemen. We don't know what instructions they are working to, what limitations on resources they are working under, or what their long term strategies are. So I don't criticise from a position of ignorance, as some do. I support and defend. That this poster joins in the chorus of ignorant criticism doesn't mean I, or anyone else must.

Misunderstanding what was meant by that can be forgiven. When that misunderstanding was clarified but the views continue to be misrepresented it cannot be.

I did hear something about what, in hindsight, seems somewhat similar many years ago but I fail to see what the significance of that fact is. I was aware of many things then, just as now. Some are crimes.

I'll just leave this here:

The actions of the Police and other services over decades of inaction contributed to many thousands of rapes of vulnerable and often underage girls.

I'll repeat....the actions of the state contributed to the continuance of rape.....In many cases the Police were aware of what was happening with underage girls.

This was in over twenty different locations and across Police services and I'm hearing it's continuing on. It is an horrendous national tragedy and the fallout is far from over.

I'll also repeat that this 'guy' is on record on this board supporting the initial responses of the Police to this issue. He wrote supporting the keeping of this knowledge away from the public.

There is zero excuse indeed this has been publicly severely criticized and apologised for. There is and was no excuse.

The excuses applied here are appalling and I see no misrepresentation.

Odious attitudes come from all segments of society. The colour of a person's skin has no bearing on them. They are all members of one race. The human race. There is no other.

That there is ever any "public criticism" of anything doesn't mean that criticism is valid. Very often it's the underlying motivation of the critics that need to be examined rather than the subject of the criticism.

For instance there has been "public criticism" of the Supreme Court recently, even to the point of calling it the "enemy of the people". This is totally invalid and ignorant.

Whether, or not, the Police should keep their enquiries secret, or involve the public, is a judgement only they can make. It's their operation. They have the facts. We don't. I defend their right to do their job and don't second guess an area of expertise beyond my pay grade.

If they feel the need to apologise when something has gone wrong sobeit. We all learn on a daily basis. Or almost all of us do. There are some stubborn exceptions.

Do you know what a "troll" does?

If you do you wouldn't need to ask the question because they don't do what I do.

What a joke.

Comes on here, thinks nothing of pushing conspiracy theories on Trump over Russia.....Happy to invoke motives for all sorts of events he has no first hand knowledge of......writes tons of posts criticizing politicians over Brexit.

Then when it comes to criticizing the Police for this national tragedy.....who have already been severely publicly criticised.

Well then it's 'above his pay grade'.

All humans are related.

All animals are related.

All living cells are related.

All atoms share characteristics.

It's a non point.

The reluctance to categorize where differences are marked over the evolution of thousands of years is politically motivated and devoid of truth or nuance.
