They can't respond without being accused of colluding with a party with links to terrorists so they resort to casual misogyny about who they would or wouldn't.

At least we have the 'Numbers' to get a majority vote in the Commons unlike Labour who were 58 sesats behind the Conservatives and ludicrously talked about forming a Government. Getting late now - Got to go to bed, so a very goodnight to everybody ! Edited by Willo (09 Jun 2017 11.15pm)

Abbots majority was higher than the number of votes Terrorist colluder double agent what with sucking up to the IRA donating POTUS Theresa May.

By coalition with the DUP the government cannot be neutral over N.Ireland any more. I wonder how serious that is.

So what is the point I'm missing? You've offered conjecture, yes, but everything I've just said addresses that. That it was nigh on impossible for Labour to catch up in the limited time available from such a low ebb. Especially as they must have been several weeks behind the Tories in their planning. You say the Tories were in disarray and therefore sitting ducks but in truth how could Labour have been geared up with so little time to prepare? It was a sterling job given the standing start. And you have to agree, surely, that it was unexpected.
