Do you know how the fractional-reserve banking system works? I assume you must vehemently oppose that system? Your economics is wonky. 55% rejected austerity and Tory economic mismanagement yesterday. People fell for nothing. This is the very arrogance and hubris that sees May in this mess.

What relevance does that have to May getting into bed with the DUP? I'll give you a clue. None. She could have just gone for a minority government but realised the majority of people don't want her policies or her cuts so instead threw her lot in with the DUP. She's a liar and a hypocrite who got what she deserved for her hubris and disdain for the electorate. The relevance is that you said the The DUP are a revolting group of people, Corbyn would of course throw in his lot with the IRA MPs if they took their seats, and they are a far more revolting group of people. Of course May is not a hypocrite and a liar for trying to form a coalition, any party in her position would.

LOL The Tory voters admit they were crap, but the ex national socialist UKIP'ers have obviously had a revelation on the road to Damascus and forgotten the words written by them on HOL about the Tories from the last election.

That's how sensible the DUP are. Sounds a bit like another acronym I know with lots of I's and s's. Edited by pefwin (09 Jun 2017 8.07pm) What's wrong with that! Sounds like a fair criticise of the Catholic church to me.

It's as good as a win because now the Tories will have to turn to Boris Johnson to lead the party. He was exposed together with Farage as lying to the electorate to push the brexit referendum through. There will be even more younger generation elegible to vote by that time (and even less older as that's nature) and another general election will be on the cards before brexit is anywhere near a done deal. Which hat did you pick that from ???? There are probably several MP's who will throw their lot in the ring if it comes to choosing a new leader.
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Theresa May from strong and stable to desperate terrorist co-conspirator. What outrageous demands will the DUP make to behave when voting? Let June be the end of May. Probably go the same way as when Labour tried it. Funnily enough under JC

As I said before the youngsters who got out of bed for the first time to vote do not realise the damage they have done in voting for free tuition and cheap housing it is sad to think that these young people will be the ones running the country when they are older. To be brain washed like they have been shows that Corbyn is a great speaker and auto suggestion master unlike May who is not called the "Ice Maiden" for nothing. She really has let the side down. Why do the Tory supporters on here have an obsession with brainwashing? They seem to find it inconceivable that people, especially the young, are able to understand the facts and make their own minds up. It's both condescending and embarrassing and will only further undermine their own cause. If these people don't open their eyes to the fact that young people matter and that they place great store by education, properly funded public services, reducing inequality and removing social prejudices and discrimination, then they risk heightening social and generational divisions and ushering in a party with less myopia.

Who was it who said that?
