Im referring to Wilf getting sticthed up, either by his advisors or by another club promising him they would make a bid if he put in a transfer request. He was led up the garden path and made to look very silly indeed. I agree completely that it could possibly benefit us when he does move on, we are a one trick pony with him on the pitch and everyone knows it, hence why every team tagets him and the fans abuse him. If someone was stitched up then I tend to think it’s to the gain of the stitcher over the stitchee. I can’t see how a club or advisor as stitcher gained from this.

Everton have potentially gained 3 points...cheap ass b-atches! Oh yes I see. I don’t think Wilf would’ve played anyway and although he was on agreed leave, it was stretched out a bit. Maybe Everton were part of that too? Serious as after I typed that it could be read as sarcastic. Dear me wilf must be fuming with.... he probably doesn’t know who!

News of this pay rise came from a few sources. Not SSN or Jim White's sources were they?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Standard reporting he's talking to Roy and wants a move abroad before Sept. If true , someone has really upset him and we should if we can get rid. My concern is only the Arse and the Toffees actually offered anything for him, neither of which met the valuation. Hold on too long and his age, lack of form, injuries could impact future price. For me thanks Wilf, don't spoil how most of the supporters feel about you but don't let the door hit you on your arse on the way out. Edited by Chubskip (09 Aug 2019 1.25pm)

Edited by Chubskip (09 Aug 2019 1.25pm) Here it is: The problem as ever is buying replacements, and is a problem with the European window closing later. We were serious about buying Sarr, he didn’t sign for Watford until after we stated Zaha wasn’t leaving. Zaha will not be leaving without the asking price being met and us being able to replace him. That will be made clear to Wilf now. I don’t know what makes people think European clubs will spend £80-100 mil on Wilf plus £200k per week when he’s played no European football and the only interest has been from clubs set to finish 5-7th or 8th. More circus in summary.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Its hard to think how Parish could have handled the whole transfer window worse, a master class of mismanagement if ever I have seen it and I fear the club will pay with relegation at the end.
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

Tbh I don’t even know if Parish has or he hasn’t. He hasn’t sold him cheaply. I guess we’ll find out when Wilf plays, when he’s sold and after he’s sold. I bet he was probably thinking like all of us when reading and dealing with Wilf’s chums though. That would’ve been like breakfast for Parish. What’s even more thought provoking is that Will Salthouse (Wilf’s actual agent rather than Klingon) is friends with, and in business with Parish. As ever there’s some murky stuff going on in money for old rope work where it’s fast quick money and people are prepared to sell their granny, brother, ‘bro’, or best friend.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle If a European club comes in with a loan or loan to buy offer, even now I would let him go. His putting in a transfer request and (it appears ,) active consideration of Evertons offer points not to 'I want Champions League football,' but to I want more money which clearly we will not sanction. A demotivsted Wilf and conjecture from now about if/when/where he will go in 4 months time is an unnecessary distraction. The guy has done wonders but with his head now turned, no looking back
