Another typo. Wonder if you'll still be having a go at people for typos Pete!

I'm still really shocked about todays happenings, really doesn't seem real at all, whatever happened it wasn't bloody nice.

Al Quaeda are fighting against the West, they hate everything about the Western world, they want Global Islam. But for people who bring terror on the rest of the world in the name of islam are not Muslims at all, they can't call themselves that when they don't care who they kill even their own.

Everything that they are doing is against what the Islamic religion stands for.

I know what you mean, feeling exactly the same. Seemed so weird just getting on with things normally whilst people were being blown up less than 8 or so miles away, scary stuff.

i'm sorry. What I wrote seemed like i'm blaming every Muslim, but i wasn't. What I should have wrote was Muslim extremists, a group of which have claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Yup that's what I mean Dan, I feel like it's a totally different world that was bombed.

I also really agree with Sophie.

Doesn't it say in their holy book "thou shall not kill"

At this time I think arguements and accusations should be put aside and for the immediate future our thoughts should be with the affected.

Bush must be rubbing his hands together, here is he in Gleneagles fighting of Blairs proposals to fighting 3rd world debt for fear of what it would do to America's economy. Yet not only have these terrorists diverted all the attention away from himself (and the critisism he and America would recieve in the papers tomorrow) but he also looks justified in his war against terrorism in front of the likes of Chrirac.

Perhaps these terrorists arn't as clever or strategic as we thought?!

Your right there. It does strike me as bad timing for an attack. Unless these terrorists want Bush to get the others on side so we have a row for years. I don't want that, no innocent people do, we have to hold our leaders to account.

I was outisde Kings Cross while they were evacuating it (about 9.15), on my way to a univeristy open day up north. We'd heard that there had been an explosion at Liverpool Street, and that St Pancras and Kings Cross were being evacuated.

Everyone was moved away from there by at least 15 mins after we arrived; at the time, we didnt know the scale of the events and stayed around for a bit wondering if might all clear up within a couple of hours and we could go after all.

We put on a local radio station and found that there had been lots more explosins, and thought it wise to get out of there as soon as possible, so walked back to London Bridge.

The amount of police/ambulances/fire engines/doctors there was unbelievable, I've never seen so many in one place.

And to think that we were not 100 yards from where at least 20-odd people died is absolutely shocking. Even more so, is that we were planning on getting an earlier train too.

I'm so sorry for all the people who died, it was very scary this morning, and I can't bear to imagine what it would have been like if you were one of those stuck underground.

Sophie, they're not bothered about killing their own because they think they are doing every Muslim a favour, Allahs way encourages Martyrdom , so therefore these terrorists feel justified in taking fellow muslims lives in a cause such as this.
