I wouldnt think McKenna is on 5m a year like Hodgson, and we have a stong selection of players, probably 120m available if we sell say Olise and Andersen, that should get 4/5 decent players, i think that Iraola and Kompany would ge good, if you want to find someone to gamble on, Michel at Girona (Dreamwaver mentioned him) or Will Still from Reims

I’d love an Edwards, Cooper, Howe or McKenna for this reason however I feel as though they would be short lived appointments.

Quite frankly, about 95% of managers post-Roy would likely pick the team up and have them playing with a bit of freedom, energy and enthusiasm.

That always seems to have a limited life span however like we saw with Pardew/PV, and may well see with Howe at Newcastle, that momentum and lease of life soon fades so we could well be on the hunt for a Hodgson, Allardyce, Pulis etc again.

That seems like a bit of an overly negative or worrysome post, plus I’m not saying I’m 100% correct of course, however I think that should be factored into considerations

So Monkey, as you have watched hundreds of Palace games more than me, you must be aware that Roy plays players out of position in an unbalanced team? No point me contacting Roy to tell him, if Dougie and Paddy have no influence, that would be pointless. Just looking forward to the day he finally leaves.
