Norm MacDonald....sadly departed....did a rather, to the point, joke about how the left react to these tragic incidents. [Tweet Link]

One day, this will be replicated on a major, major scale.

Just heard his statement, no mention of the poor children or their families. Only interested in attacking the far right. Unbelievable Of course, everyone feels the greatest sympathy for those involved. It's an awful tragedy and the perpetrator needs to be condemned in the strongest terms. What though it mustn't lead to is a hatefest directed at those who are equally innocent and associated only by a shared faith. Without knowing the context of the statement it's difficult to know where to place it and if it was intended to dampen down an unwarranted response.

Well, you've said earlier that we have to interpret your posts and draw our own conclusions as to what you really mean, so you could well mean that it is all part of our glorious diversity, is progress and we must accept it and that we are all racists if we don't! It would be a very strange, and completely wrong, conclusion, but given your posting history here, also an unsurprising one.

The French came to their senses just in time. I fear though that they might not the next time and have their "Trump" moment. What that would do to the EU, and to their relationship with us, is difficult to anticipate, but it doesn't look positive.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Strange your shared faith and association bit doesn’t appear to work with political allegiance.

I'm merely pointing out that, by your own admission, you deliberately post in riddles. The majority of your posts are disingenuous. Edited by georgenorman (09 Jun 2023 7.44am)
