Unfortunately (just my opinion and nothing else!) I don't think we are gonna get Berahino, Benteke or any big name striker for that matter... Gotta feeling we will be starting the season with Wickham and Bolasie up front. If we struggled to score goals last season and we've signed no strikers and released/sold three in pre season it doesn't take a genius to work out we're going to struggle to score goals again.. I would of been happy even getting someone like Negredo from Man City who Boro have snapped up on loan.... Oh well let's wait and see.

BUT quite a few £ms have been gathered through the sale of Gayle, McCarthy etc, which adds to the dosh we can shell out on a couple of strikers. And AP has mentioned a short list of 4 or 5 strikers that Palace have lined up. We dont know for certain yet we havn't got Berahino, but if he does go to Stoke, there are other taxis on the rank!

I do agree with you but I'm not sure who the 4 or 5 Pards has his eye on. We need to get firmer and bolder. Can we assume 4 of them might be So we're talking about spending £50m My view is that we say F this for a game of soldiers and overspend to get one proven prem striker. Add up to £5m to both Berahino andBenteke, take it or leave it and do it quick or we will lose both to Stoke, Southampton or Everton. Buy the first to bite our hand off by the end of the week. Then whatever change is left from the £50m, spend on a championship proven striker as backup. Parrot
